Group class today 2/15/25
I love to watch the dogs and owners progress into better and better teams. It’s so awesome to watch where the dogs came from and where they are now.
Love it!!

Welcome Toby to Day Trains with us. He’s not too cool for school!
He’s learning to walk nice and have boundaries, and the off and leave it commands.
He’s a smart boy. Just need to keep his attention.
I have high expectations for him because he can do it.

Welcome Lucy (5 mos old dachshund) and Teddy (2 year old Toy Poodle)
They both are doing a two day train and this is their very first day and doing very well. Lucy is learning obedience, but also the quiet command because she is a barker and Teddy is learning overall obedience and to be calmer in his house.

Welcome Bailey to her first Day Train. She’s so smart, she did fantastic.

Update on Zipper. Six months old she finished her day train program and walked down her sidewalk in front of her home off leash with mom. And sat and came to a front and sat off leash. So proud of her and her mom and dad. They put the work in and are accomplishing their goals. She graduated a group class. Can’t wait to see her there.

It was a long but good day. First, all day event “Love is in the Air” in Port Orange.
Then, a Pack Walk in Deland with a big group of our clients. Training moments throughout and walked the dogs with busy traffic, noises, lots of people etc. I was so proud of all the dogs and their humans.
Finished with an initial private lesson with a new client and their dog.

What Great idea

What a genius and cost-effective solution! I’m saving this in case I ever need it (hopefully not).

Using a $3 pool noodle instead of a traditional cone helps dogs stay comfortable, allows better mobility, and doesn’t restrict their ability to sniff. It’s a great way to keep them from licking sores or wounds while keeping stress levels low. Brilliant tip! 👍👏👏

Welcome Zipper to her first Day Train. She’s only six months old and still a bit of a wild child but she’s getting it and having to learn some new rules and boundaries and attention to whoever’s leading her. She is doing great so far and I expect nothing else but greatness..

Welcome Mya and Khaleesi to the first day of their Day Trains. These two were so afraid of walking out their front door and wouldn’t let people approach in the house. But they really came out of their shell during training. It’s not perfect yet, but not only did we get all of the foundations in them, but we worked by walking around the park and exposing them to kids playing on the playground and people going by on bikes and cars and walking by people who are sitting on Park benches resting, and they did fabulous. Even got them to rest, which is a big deal. I’m so proud of their willingness to work and process through their fear and I can’t wait to see how far they go.

Sunday Group Class. It was awesome to have everyone. You can tell that everyone’s putting in the work because the dogs did fantastic. We did some place work, then did a pack walk practiced our heel and sits and walking up and downstairs. We came back and worked on reverse heel, backing our dogs up and even did a little practice on weaving our dogs through our legs and finished with all the dogs practicing getting on the fire hydrant.
Great work by everyone
