We are a family owned business operating on the grounds of the YMCA of the Rockies. We offer personalized guided horseback riding tours through Rocky Mountain National Park. We are open March through the end of October. Positions are available for a variety of dates. We are looking for courteous, dedicated, responsible, outgoing, energetic applicants who are horse lovers and have good people skill
s. We generally hire a staff of 20 to 25 college age people. Job would entail care of over 100 horses (feeding, grooming, saddling, doctoring, corral cleaning, maintenance, etc.) and guiding different groups of tourists on horseback. Room and Board is provided with this position. Rooms are separate bunkhouse style cabins for males and females, and meals are provided by the YMCA of the Rockies. - Two and three hour rides through the Rocky Mountain National Park! With longer rides coming soon.
-One hour rides through the YMCA of the Rockies property.
- Hayrides with a marshmallow roast on the YMCA property.

Here at Jackson Stables we got over 2 feet of snow. The horses and staff enjoyed every second of this beautiful winter storm!
The staff had an awesome day bringing the horses up from winter pasture! We are all excited to be open for rides soon!

This is a full time job with a monthly pay of $2,100 plus substantial tips!
You have the option of room and board with this position for a minimal fee of $100 a month. Rooms are bunkhouse style cabins separate for males and females, and meal plans are available.

Getting horses in shape for the summer on what we call wrangler rides! Just the wranglers out on the trails together! It's a good way to learn the trails, get to know the horses, and have fun with the wrangler crew before things pick up for the summer!

Wrangler banquet was a blast (and delicious). We celebrate the hard work of our wranglers near the end of the summer before some of them head back to school!
