Little but mighty vegan Animal Sanctuary for the misfits. Primarily working with birds/special needs. All Species are welcome.

We are a Vegan Animal Sanctuary Working Primarily with Birds and Special needs Animals. We help those with severe or long lasting medical needs. Our goal is to help Animals in need and offer specialty care that is difficult for most.

Our first fundraiser of the year is just a week away and we haven’t sold nearly enough tickets!

Right now we’re looking at canceling this event due to only FIVE tickets being purchased.

We have 24 hours to get a handful more tickets purchased before making the sad decision to cancel.

Tickets are $40 per person on Eventbrite.com

You get a yummy vegan meal created and made by and . A self guided tour of the sanctuary,while helping us raise much needed funds.

We have already taken in 3 new rescues this year and your support is what makes that possible.

We absolutely cannot do this work alone.

Twiggy & Figgy have officially moved to the big yard! They are with Ricky & Granny goose and have acclimated better than we could have hoped. They spent their 1st night in their outdoor coop last night and are happy, healthy & comfortable.

Seeking volunteers here at the sanctuary to help us with daily care, clean up and feedings for the residents!

We are extremely understaffed right now and could really use some more hands on deck here at the sanctuary.

Alex and Ash have been on overtime for the past several weeks and although they have what it takes to ensure all the chores get done, it is definitely wreaking havoc on their bodies!

If you can commit to a three hour shift, at least two days out of the month email us Theshoresanctuary.org

Must be 18 years or older, and able to commit to at least weekly or biweekly volunteer timeslots!

Right now we have every day of the week available.

Yesterday we traveled to to drop off Sid and Nancy!

They were the best guest here and we will miss the cute prehistoric noises they made and watching them in our quarantine yard, but we are so grateful for the new life ahead of them!

Make sure to follow to keep up with what Sid and Nancy are up to!
