We would like to thank everyone who donated to our Giving Tree for One at a Time K-9 Rescue. Tonight, they were able to pick up all the goodies, and this was only half of the goodies that is pictured! They even brought adorable Mae who came from a hoarding situation in Euclid and was first seen by Dr. Malak before going to rescue and later became a foster fail:)

They take on some of the hardest, or most complicated medical cases that would be turned away otherwise. They do amazing work with puppy mill dogs, or those who have truly had a broken spirits and gave them hope again. We couldn’t be more grateful to every single one of you that donated, know it was very well appreciated and we have no doubt will go to good use! Thank you again for helping us give back this season.

We walked in this morning to find Dr. Jinglepaws and his assistant investigating Miranda’s dog Cai’s “stuffed” moose under the X-ray. What’s the diagnosis? Too many holiday snacks? A tinsel binge? Or maybe just a case of being “literally stuffed”…….Whatever it is, Cai seems curious over his buddy, and the elves are taking this ‘research’ very seriously. Someone tell them toy moose don’t need medical charts!

We would like to thank everyone who contributed to our Giving Trees this year! Because of you, we were able to donate LOTS of goods to House of Mews Rescue that does amazing work for all the feline friends in our area! They were incredibly grateful, and we know that each and every one of these donations will be put to good use. This season we often get wrapped up in all the “have to’s” and sometimes lose sight that this is the season for giving. We are thankful to each of our clients, and we are thankful to HOM rescue for what they do.

We walked in today to find Dr. Jinglepaws fully engrossed in ‘How to Catch a Gingerbread Man’ like it’s a matter of national security. Meanwhile, two very suspicious gingerbread cutouts stood right next to him, clearly taunting his investigative skills. We’re not sure if he’s clueless or if they’re just really good at standing still, but one thing’s for sure—this elf is in way over his head......

This morning, we found Dr. Jinglepaws fully immersed in his latest ‘scientific endeavor’—analyzing p**p samples under the microscope. But these aren’t just any samples; they’re labeled reindeer p**p, snowman p**p, and even *elf p**p!* He claims it’s all part of important holiday research, but we’re starting to think he’s having a little too much fun with sprinkles. Santa, come get your elf!

Dr. Jinglepaws has traded in his lab coat for some extreme sledding action! Perched on his donut inner tube at the top of a wrapping paper mega slide, he’s aiming to land straight in a box of Dunkin’. Sure, it’s hard to tell he’s actually on a donut (thanks, elf physics), but trust us, he’s living his best life. We’re just hoping he doesn’t need X-rays after this stunt—our techs are good, but even they don’t have a code for 'elf sledding” mishap……

Dr. Jinglepaws took a break from his usual mischief today to enjoy a little holiday storytime with “Stray Dog Christmas” under our One at a Time K-9 Rescue Giving Tree. Even this sneaky elf knows the importance of giving back! Just a reminder—Saturday is the LAST day to drop off donations and help bring some Christmas magic to animals in need!

Walked in this morning to find Dr. Jinglepaws mid-espresso binge, proudly declaring, 'This stuff is amazing!' We’re not sure what’s more concerning—the caffeine high he’s riding or the fact that he’s figured out the machine. If he starts singing Christmas carols at warp speed or diagnosing patients, we’re calling Santa. Life at a vet clinic just got a whole lot more… energized!

Last week brought us plenty of wagging tails and festive cheer as we countdown to the most paw-liday-filled time of year! 🎄🐾 We’re back open tomorrow, ready to welcome more furry friends who are definitely on the ‘nice’ list (well, mostly). Let’s sleigh this week with smiles, snuggles, and maybe a little holiday mischief! ❄️🎅

🌟 Client Spotlight: Gidget! 🌟

Earlier this year, Gidget tipped the scales at 70 pounds. Yesterday, she came in for her annual check-up, and when we saw her weight, we thought our scale was broken! But no—it’s all thanks to her dedicated mom, who found the perfect balanced diet with tons of research and made Gidget’s health her top priority.

Gidget now weighs a healthy 46 pounds for her size and is living her best life. She’s gone from short strolls only able to walk a couple of minute before needing to stop to daily walks and zooming around like a puppy. She even just got back from vacation in Arizona, where she ran, explored, and soaked up the sun. Talk about a glow-up!

We couldn’t be prouder of Gidget and her amazing dedicated mom—this transformation deserves a round of a-paws! 🐾❤️

Dr. Jinglepaws is back in action, and today he’s administering “very festive” DHLPP vaccines—that happen to be like Christmas-colored doses! He says it’s to keep this patient on Santa’s ‘Nice List,’ but we’re starting to think he might just enjoy poking things with needles. Don’t worry, no actual patients were harmed during his... ‘training session…….but we’ll be double-checking his credentials again tomorrow!
