Spring is finally here! ❤️🌼 As excited as we are, it is also peek time for your pet to experience more itching and allergies. If your pet is itchy…they are uncomfortable. There is so much that can be done to help an animal with their allergies. Call the clinic if you are concerned.

Meet Leo, a 7 month old kitten that was recently transported from Honduras with a rescue group called “Flight Angels of Roatan” and brought to the US to a local rescue group-Purrfect Partners Ohio. We work with a couple of local rescues groups to make sure the kitties are healthy and ready for adoption. ❤️If you are interested in adopting please contact the rescue. He’s absolutely gorgeous😍

March is Pet Poison Prevention and Awareness Month, and there are a lot of things in our home that can be poisonous to our pets. If you think your pet ingested something they shouldn’t have, call us immediately or you can reach the ASPCA poison control center at (888) 426-4435.

HAPPY ALERT!!!! This is Honey, a 4-year-old pittie mix.😍 Her owners brought her in to have a lump looked at on her leg. After taking samples we determined it was a mast cell tumor, which is a malignant tumor. Honey had surgery to remove the tumor and Dr. Ramsey made sure to get everything! Honey now has a clean bill of health. YAY!!! Look how cute she is in her revovery suits, which can be used instead of E collars. 💛🐾 Please pay attention to lumps and bumps on your pets and if you find one, have it checked out!!!!

These are maps of dogs tested for Lyme Disease in our state. The dark orange are the counties with the highest infection risk. Just 5 years ago in Cuyahoga county, the number of Lyme positive dogs was 1 out of 100. So far this year that number has drastically gotten worse and 1 out of 30 dogs test positive for Lyme disease. You can protect your dog from Lyme disease by having them vaccinated and keeping up with monthly prevention that protects them against ticks(and multiple other parasites). By protecting your pet, they in turn protect you! If your dog is not vaccinated for Lyme disease, call the hospital so we can get you set up with an appointment.
