A considerable number of dogs in our care have demonstrated a strong preference for interacting solely with their owners and our trained staff. In order to ensure a secure and comfortable environment for all, we kindly request that you refrain from entering our kennel space without our permission. We understand that you may wish to inspect the area where your pet will be staying, but we must emphasize the importance of respecting our safety protocols. Please do not attempt to pet or interact with a pet that is not yours.

Hi! Kuleana Pet Boarding is looking to hire 1 or 2 people!

We are looking for animal lovers in the Eufaula area who are interested in working for us! We are needing someone to work as a part time kennel assistant.
By part time I mean PART TIME. We are not offering any full time positions. We are mostly looking for someone to work evening shifts throughout the week, and occasionally some morning shifts. This would be a GREAT position for someone in high school or college!

Responsibilities:
• Ensure the safety and well-being of every pet in our care
• Feed and water pets as scheduled
• Clean and sanitize kennels, kennel runs, front office and backyard area daily and as needed
• Play with large groups of dogs in the outdoor area
• Be comfortable with handling multiple pets/dogs
• Be a self starter because shifts will be spent alone so you must be able to see the works that needs to be done and follow the checklist for cleaning/caring for the pets
• Develop relationships with our pets and their parents
• Eventually be trained to handle pickups, drop offs and payments

Qualifications:
•Must be 18 years or older
•Animal experience preferred but not required
•Work references
•Reliable transportation!!!
•HUGE plus if you live near our facility
•Be available during morning, afternoon and evening shifts
•ABSOLUTELY MUST WORK WEEKENDS

Hours vary week to week and pay depends on experience!
