Maybe if you're "tired" of humans being humans and having to take care of animals because of it ... You shouldn't be in rescue.

People will always rehome free kittens.... Kitten season will always exist.... If you're "tired of it" quit and leave the work to those of us who don't mind seeing the worst humanity offers and still want to do the work to change one life.

New rescues will always do things in ways you don't agree with, but if you're really "tired of it all".... Quit! Don't put down others for trying or how they try.... Just walk away and cut your losses as it wasn't a good fit.

The littlest ones will always steal my heart.... Sick baby with a upper respiratory infection.

Vet says antibiotics, fluids, and feedings... We're hopeful Luke will fight this infection...

Rescue work can be so heartbreaking. Yesterday I had an 8month old cat who just wasn't acting right and had a snotty nose. We called for urgent care and got our appointment today. Sadly, Gladrial passed away in the night.... We have 2 more with symptoms but acting fine and a 4 week old kitten who is patient zero and has been fighting infection for 10 days already....
