The girls were back in action last night ! We worked on spacing and practicing riding 1 handed with a small flag to get used to the feel! Stay tuned for updates about our tryouts!

We are sorry to say that we will be postponing are desensitization practice until next Tuesday September 3rd. Too many things are not lining up and we want to have the best practice possible. So no practice this week and we will see you all in September:)

We are excited to see everyone this Tuesday at twisted bit arena in veneta at 6:30! We have a very fun practice prepared! We will be working on desensitization and preparing our horses and riders for things they may encounter at a fair, rodeo or parade! Including lights and sirens! Please message us to let us know if you will be joining us for the fun!

These girls I am so very proud of them ❤️ and all they have accomplished. I will post videos from this weekend and lots more photos to come. Stay tuned for updates about our tryouts in October!!!
We could not have done this weekend without the absolute amazing people we have in our village ❤️ a huge shout out to Lisa Petersen for all the support and advice. Thank you Jenny Hayes and Brooks for all you did to help my dream of a youth drill team come true and getting the girls everything they needed at the drop of a hat. Thank you Carina Hallock for making sure my vision for the girls was absolutely spot on ! They looked amazing! Thank you to all my parents Mandy Hull,Josie Dilworth, Chelsea Ramirez, Sara Anderson Hicks for all the help and support this week and getting the girls to practices, to ensure they were the best they could be. Thank you to all the families and friends of all the girls that cam out to see and support them. I know it ment the absolute world to them for you to be there.

The next few weeks leading up to our first performance as a team of 8 I will be introducing all of our girls !
This weeks spotlight is our two newest to drill riders!

We have Siobhan with her pony Jello (she has 2 sisters on the team!) Jello is the smallest horse on Legacies, but Siobhan has no problem keeping up with the bigger horses.

And Lexi pictured with her horse Max. Lexi and Max were not the best fit so she actually has a brand new horse named Baxter! Baxter is a seasoned drill horse and is really helping her confidence grow and they are becoming a great team!

This weeks spotlight is on our two youngest members! Fun fact these two even share the same September birthday!
Addy is 12 with her beautiful red mare Comache. This is her first year doing drill team. Addy is the sweetest, happiest, and most easy going member of our team!
Esther is our youngest member at just 10 years old! She is riding her horse Goose.
Esther is also 1 of 3 siblings on Legacies Youth Drill Team!

These two gals are thick as thieves and do a great job supporting the less experienced riders on our team. They also do a great job in being strong leaders👏 as well as being a big pair of goofballs 🤪

These ladies are killing it !

A few rough spots to iron out ! But this was the 1st night to the halfway mark! I'm so proud of them!

This was the girls first time trotting the first part of their drill! I think they are doing awesome! We will be posting weekly highlights from now on! We are still looking for more interested riders! Come down Monday nights and see what we are all about ! :)
