Our main fundraiser for this life-saving work is our thrift store, S.A.R.A.'s Treasures, where we sell new and gently-used donated items, with all of the proceeds benefitting the rescued animals in our programs. You’ll find collectibles, jewelry, knick knacks, clothing, books, and so much more….but the real “treasures” are the cats and kittens you’ll find living in the store. It’s the purrrfect pl

Pairs of comics perform as and dress as each other. Part comedy show, part costume contest and part Eugene comedy scene Halloween party!

Meet our newest & youngest kitties in S.A.R.A.'s rescue program! These 10 week old cuties came with a heavy parasite load and upper respiratory infections. After treatments for both they are feeling so much better but we need your support! We need:
*Canned cat food
*Unscented cat litter
*Monetary donations for their spays/neuters

Meet S.A.R.A.'s newest kitty available for adoption: Tatiana! She is playful young gal who is just about 1 year old. From head to her (poofy) tail she is super adorable! She loves attention as much as she loves playing & definitely is looking for a forever home where she can snuggle in bed with you after playing on her cat tree(s), in her tunnel, & chasing toys all day!

Join us on Saturday August 10th 10am-3pm for an afternoon of volunteer work. Rescuing animals requires a lot of work and we need your help. The kitties deserve the best possible experience during their stay at SARA. Stop by for an hour or 2 or 3, we can definitely use the help. Lilac is a 12 year old sweetheart who had a mouthful of very painful cavities when she was rescued. In June she had dental surgery removing them & it has given her a whole new lease on life! This amazing lady is now available for adoption & will make a fabulous family member!
Sundae is only about 2 years old but has a very serious (possible foreign object) problem going on in her mouth requiring her to go in immediately for surgery to take care of it & get this amazing gal ready for adoption!

SARA kitty Warren went to a cardiologist consult today to have an ultrasound done so we can learn more about why he has a murmur before placing him up for adoption. He had some sedative medication before so he would be on his best behavior and it sure made him goofy! This vital care is made possible with supporters like you!
