#GivingTuesday is almost over but you still have time to make a big impact in the lives of the pets of homeless people in Lane County! Take a look at what your generosity can do. Just $25 can save a life. You make a difference with your donation. It all adds up and we thank you on behalf of all the pets you help in our community. https://www.facebook.com/donate/588770479917578/
-$25 can save a cat or dog from starvation and provide nutritious food for almost one month.
-$50 can help stop animal overpopulation in our community by providing one spay or neuter voucher.
-$150 can save nearly two dozen cats or dogs from preventable infectious diseases and help stop the spread of those diseases to many other animals in the community.
-$500 helps re-stock our clinic with life saving & soothing medicine, veterinary equipment, and supplies for one month.
-$1,000 can save an animal requiring special veterinary procedures, such as severe wound care, mass removal, abscess drainage, and amputation.
-$2,000 sponsors one of the 22 free veterinary clinics we run in a year, which typically treats about 40-50 dogs & cats at no cost to their owners.
THANK YOU for your support!

Since 1998 we have been serving the pets of people experiencing homelessness in Lane County. Not only do we foster the human-animal bond, we also reduce the numbers of diseases, parasites, and unwanted litters in our community.
If you support these efforts, please donate at our website ( proboneo.org ) or our Facebook fundraiser at https://www.facebook.com/donate/588770479917578/

It's Clinic Day tomorrow, Sunday the 13th! If you are unhoused in Lane County and have a pet in need of veterinary services, come on down to 1509 W. 1st street (across the street from the Eugene Mission) for free veterinary care. Here are some general guidelines to keep in mind.
1. First come, first serve only. You must wait in line. We do not take walk-ups as a priority. Our gate opens at 8:45 and we will close at 1:00 hard stop.
2. If you need just food and supplies, please let us know, so you are not taking up a spot in line. The same goes with just flea treatment and medication refills.
3. We currently have very few spay and neuter vouchers as veterinary clinics are also short-staffed and running at decreased spay and neuter capacity.
4. Two pets per family per clinic. At this time due to staffing, we are unable to see litters.
5. We will do our best to let you know if we will not have the capacity to see you as soon as we can determine.
6. PBO is unable to treat chronic conditions or emergencies. We offer vaccines, flea treatment, deworming, basic skin care, and some eye and ear treatments. We are unable to assist with wounds, broken bones, abscesses, tell if your animal is pregnant, run any blood work, or do X-rays or ultrasounds. If you have any questions on if we can see you please message us and our vet tech will get to you as soon as she can.
7. Kindness goes a long way. Our volunteers work hard on their day off to help pets be served. We do not tolerate aggression from humans or animals alike.
8. The gate will be closed in between us letting cars in due to people cutting in line. Once we have determined we no longer need to do this, we will be back to normal.
9. Head in parking only so we can read your license plate.
10. Let us know how we can help. If you are low-income, Community Veterinary Center Community Veterinary Center is a great option. We are only able to serve those who are houseless in Lane County.

Thank you for everyone's support at today's clinic. We were able to serve all of the clients in line and distributed all of the spay/neuter vouchers!
We have exciting news!! Pro-Bone-O Veterinary Care is hiring a part-time Development Coordinator. We are seeking a animal lover who is compassionate and experienced in fundraising! Since 1998 we have relied on volunteers, this is a big step towards the future for us and we couldn't be more excited!
Please help us pass the word!! This will be our first paid employee!

We appreciate this community so much for the donations we receive!! We kindly ask, please refrain from donating cat trees. We have no space to store them and our clients have no space to put them up for their kitty friends! Many of our clients live in their cars or other small spaces, that a cat tree isn't a viable option.
Check out our friends at Shelter Animal Resource Alliance- and ask them if they need cat trees!! They are a wonderful organization!
A message from PBO board president Stacey. Clinics will be closed until further notice- please follow for updates.
A sneak peak inside a clinic boutique.

Thank you so much to all of our volunteers during the month of #October and a huge thank you to Dr. Polk and Dr. Dimski for helping at the clinic!!
