🐾 4th of July Pet Safety Tips 🐾🇺🇸
Fireworks may be fun for us—but they can be terrifying for our pets. Loud noises, flashing lights, and big crowds can lead to stress, anxiety, and even escape attempts.

Here’s how to keep your pets safe and calm this Independence Day:

🎆 Keep them indoors — even if they’re used to being outside.
🎶 Play calming music or white noise to drown out booms.
🏷️ Double-check ID tags & microchips in case they get spooked and run.
💊 Talk to us about anxiety meds if your pet gets especially nervous.
🚪 Secure all doors, windows, and gates to prevent escape.

Let’s make it a safe holiday for everyone—including your four-legged family members. 💙

Does your pet get anxious during storms, car rides, or trips to the vet? 🐶🐱 You're not alone—and we're here to help! Anxiety in pets is common, but with the right approach, you can make them feel safe and supported. Here are our Top 5 Vet-Approved Calming Remedies to help soothe your furry companion:

Calming Supplements – Natural options like L-theanine, melatonin, or calming chews can ease anxiety without sedation. Ask us which formulas are safe and effective for your pet's size and health.

Thundershirts or Anxiety Wraps – These snug-fitting garments provide gentle, constant pressure that can calm your pet during storms or stressful events—like a comforting hug!

Pheromone Products – Diffusers, sprays, or collars that release pet-friendly calming pheromones (like Adaptil for dogs or Feliway for cats) can help reduce stress in new or noisy environments.

Create a Safe Space – Set up a quiet, cozy retreat for your pet with familiar bedding, toys, and low lighting. Playing soft music or white noise can help mask triggering sounds like thunder or fireworks.

Training & Desensitization – Gradually exposing your pet to anxiety triggers in a controlled, positive way can build resilience over time. We can guide you or refer you to a trusted behaviorist.

Need help deciding which remedy is best for your pet? Give us a call or stop by—we’re here to keep tails wagging and whiskers calm! 🐾
