What's going on at H and H Veterinary Care? Today will be the last day seeing patients at the current location. You can book appointments with Dr. Henery starting August 23rd with BetterVet.
I (Dr. Henery) have been in Washington this month to hold my little sister's hand while she is in hospice with a terminal illness. I am sorry for the inconvenience this unexpected event has caused.

Calamity Jane is our Puppy Ambassador! She helps puppies get through their vet appointments and learn that the clinic can be a very fun place! She seems to sense when a pup is frightened and will calmly help them through the scary moments. She also knows when the pups just want to play and have fun and will even let them “win” the wrestling matches! Dr. Henery saved her life as a puppy, and she has been the perfect companion ever since that day. Be sure to ask to meet Jane next time you’re in the clinic, especially if you have a new puppy!

Our newest clinic cat Tortellini was found curled up in the rain in our back alley, clinging to life. She only weighed 3.5 lbs and had an injured eye. The first pictures are her first day with us, and you can scroll along and see her recovery! She had her injured eye removed, and she now weighs 10 lbs and is healthy as can be. Next time you’re in the clinic be sure to say hello to Tortellini!

This I Rye. She is a 22 month old GSD.
Rye came to us 2 weeks ago as a surrender.
Rye is intelligent, kennel trained, sits, lays down and is working on stay.
She is reactive when kenneled or on a leash if dog or human walks by but redirects easily. We are working on this.
She ignores my cats and poultry. Small children are not a good fit.
Rye dog needs a forever home. She really wants a human of her own.

It has been confirmed that our beloved kennel assistant, Mariana Dukes, has been found deceased. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Those who were fortunate enough to know Mari would know that she was an amazing person who left her mark on this world. ❤️
