I know I have enough information to post this but my goal was to just pause breeding until we got our foot in the door as foster parents and felt confident in having more than one kid but one of my foster boys has had chronic health issues and I will be pausing breathing for as long as he is with me or at least until I can get a better grasp at caring for his needs and I will continue breathing as soon as I can. I do not want to quit I am just passing until we get little man taken care of.

There has been no litters taking recently so I have been silent 😅

I do have Mr Wasabi here for pet home rehoming! He is a sweet little man but took after his uncle and does not want to be a ladies man 😂 Looking got a home where he can just eat all your food and steal your blankets lol

Katsu is being pet homed due to not having any interest in the boys and not taking in time, she turns 1 in a couple of days! If you are interested in her please let me know!

Current breeding herd here at Southern Spike 😊 I had other hedgehogs in my herd who’ve i recently pet homed so that i can work on pedigrees.

After this potential litter with Katsu and Wasabi we will be pausing breeding until around September. During our break my household will be getting settled in our new role as foster parents and I will be working on getting more herd members with better pedigrees. 😃

I definitely need to take updated herd photos with these two but I wanted to make a post! Wasabi and Katsu were paired on the 13th of this month and hopefully will have a litter between May 18th-25th!! I am super excited to see how this pairing turns out!

With going 6 gens back they had a COI of only 0.098 so i’m super excited about that! 😊

I have 2 Hedgies available!!

Haruna is the last baby from these past two litters that is still available! She is a sweet girl her birthday is 1/4/22 ❤️

Hermes is a chonky man who’s birthday is 11/7/20. Hermes is a man who’s love language is food 😂 he is definitely a cutie but isn’t the most social hedgie so he would need to go to someone who knows how to handle hedgies.
