With the upcoming temperatures and weather, don't forget about your outside pets and livestock! Make sure to provide the appropriate shelter and plenty of food & fresh water. Keep in mind that livestock use their energy to stay warm, meaning they will consume more food than normal. If you are using heat lamps, please make sure they are a safe distance away from the pet and will not catch anything on fire!

Here are a few pet friendly tips to ensure a safe New Year's Eve!

🎇Create a safe space for your pet. If you plan to spend New Year's Eve away from home or plan to pop fireworks at your house, ensure that your pet has a safe/quiet space to retreat to if they are feeling anxious.
🎇Keep your pets indoors to prevent them from running off. Make sure they have tags on their collars with updated contact information and/or microchipped!
🎇Exercise your pet before the festivities.
🎇Prepare for anxiety. You can consult with your vet about anxiety reducing medications to give beforehand.
🎇Make sure to let your guests know NOT to give any food or drinks to your pets!
🎇Keep them far away from any fireworks!

Anyone missing a dog? It showed up at Dr. Tim's camp and seems really sweet! The camp is about 2 miles west from the Y-Not Stop on Jeanard Lane in Mamou.

It's the boss man's birthday today! Thank you for always going along with all of our crazy ideas, all of the opportunities you have provided for us, and for being our "work dad".
