Today, we are grateful to our generous donors who sponsored TWO days of fixing cats and dogs! Angelica Dunn sponsored an entire day of cats spays/neuters, and an anonymous donor sponsored an entire day of fixing pitbull type dogs! It is so rewarding to see how grateful cats and dog owners are when they are able to get their pets fixed at no charge!
Happy Thanksgiving to all of our amazing community members! Thank you for keeping up with us for Gearing Up for Giving Tuesday!

Gearing up for Giving, Week 4: Looking to the future!
Dental cleanings and extractions have recently taken off at the clinic. With an Oral health assessment booked almost everyday and our dental procedures booking out 2 months, our dental machine can barely keep up! An updated dental machine will streamline our procedures, being easier on both our patient and our vet tech. Keep an eye out in the new year for our campaign to help us achieve this goal and continue this life changing service!

Gearing up for Giving, Week 4: Looking to the future!
Doing up to 30 surgeries a day, and 4,300 a year, a surgical table is a crucial tool in our day. Next year we will be asking the community for contributions towards purchasing a new, updated surgical table. A new table will be safer for both patients and workers, and a will also be more ergonomic to promote a healthier work environment for our staff.

We have made it to Week Four of Gearing Up for Giving! Our last and final week before Giving Tuesday, December 5th! This weeks theme is "Looking to the Future", where each day we'll dive into some future community funded projects we'll be launching in 2026.

Giving Tuesday is 8 days away and we have reached $1,100 of our $5,000 goal. We are so grateful for everyone that has donated, but, we hope to inspire more people of our community to contribute to our Giving Tuesday campaign.

Grants HSNC has received in the past are not guaranteed each year, and most of our financial assistance comes from our donation based funds. Please consider donating towards Humboldt Spay/Neuter Clinic's Giving Tuesday campaign, and keep an eye out each day this week while we Gear Up for Giving Tuesday!

This poor feral sure had a lot going on! Not only did he have a broken tooth but also a large wound on its leg! After some TLC, a tooth extraction, a couple stitches, and some antibiotics this guy was ready to get back out in the world.
Situations like this truly show how much our Feral Colony Fund can improve the livelihood of local ferals. Most caretakers and trappers don't have the means to pay for treatments of ferals, so we heavily rely on our donation based funds. If you'd like to donate towards our Feral Colony Fund, you can call us at 707-442-7729 or donate online at: https://www.spayhumboldt.org/donate

It is week 3 of our Gearing Up For Giving Campaign, this weeks theme: Impacts on the Community! All stories in our video have been made possible thanks to our donation based funds from the community!
Help us reach our goal of $5,000 by Giving Tuesday, December 2nd!

You've seen our Gearing up for Giving Tuesday posts but do you know what Giving Tuesday is?
Giving Tuesday (December 2nd) is a day of spreading generosity! We here at Humboldt Spay/Neuter Clinic would like you to keep us in your mind this Holiday season, especially around Giving Tuesday! Our goal is to raise $5,000 by Tuesday, December 2nd. Contributions towards Giving Tuesday will help us continue to provide affordable services to pets all across Humboldt County. This year alone we have utilized $30,000 in donation based funds to assist in the cost of spay/neuters, feral cat trap-neuter-returns, wellness care, and basic illness treatment! Based on appointments and requests already made for 2026, we will be exceeding that needed amount for next!
Please consider making a tax deductible donation to Humboldt Spay/Neuter Clinic this Holiday Season! Click below to donate!

*CUTENESS ALERT*

Today we have five pups from Nor Cal Pet here at the clinic to be spayed/neutered. Many of these sweet dogs were rescued from a situation that had around 40 dogs on the property. We are happy to help on their path to a new life.

We love our local rescue partners! Together we work to provide a compassionate and effective solution to cases of neglect and pet overpopulation in Humboldt County.

Please reach out directly to Nor Cal Pet with adoption inquires.

We are so excited to announce a Pints for Non-Profits event at Six Rivers Brewery in McKinleyville! Join us Wednesday, December 10th (12p-8p) for a fun night of good food, good beer, and great company! We will also be hosting a pet food drive so if you have some food your furry friend doesn't like, bring it on down!
$1 from every draft beer sold will go towards offsetting the cost of spays/neuters and keeping wellness programs affordable to pet parents everywhere! All pet food donations will go in our free pet food pantry for pet parents that might be struggling with their groceries at the moment!
Grab your friends, grab some pet food, and come have a good time with us!
