Last weekend at Belle-City Kennel Club---BCKC’s Rally Trial, baby Wicket (Calvin x Poppins 2023) earned a couple more titles to her name! New Rally Intermediate and Rally Advanced titles!!! She was such a good girl and had scorching fast course times! 😍

Always so proud of Alexia and Wicket. They are turning into quite the performance team!

Croc had an amazing last 3 days competing in rally and scent work at the Standard & Giant Schnauzer trials!

In Rally we scored 100/100/100 Wednesday, 89 (he was a little crazy that morning lol/99/100 Thursday & 98/99/100 today! He went High Triple on Wednesday and High Combined Wednesday & Thursday! That’s his first 3 Triple Q’s (plus his first 3 RM legs and RAE legs) - 76 RACH points, 18 of them being Master points!!! 🤩 Lots of placements won on speed. So proud of him … he really is walking in his Dad’s pawprints.

In Scent Work he qualified in Advanced Containers twice earning him his SCA title (his 6th new title this month)! Plus we got a Q in Advanced Interiors ❤️

AND he ran in Fast Cat once! Over 17MPH. He will get his DCAT in September at MRKC’s trial.

And that’s a wrap! Another AKC Rally National Championship in the books. Croc did a wonderful job today again. We got a 98 and 100! Overall, Croc scored a 296/300 (98/98/100) so only missed 4 points. 🥳

Extremely happy with my baby dog at his first ever Rally National event ❤️. He handled the busy, crowded environment so well and I love how animated and happy he was out there. 🥰 What a performance journey we are going to have together. So proud to be his breeder and handler. Can’t wait for next year! 😁

Croc had a great first day at the AKC Rally National Championship 2024! My little feral squirrel got a 98/100 in today’s run. He was SO happy out there … just love his attitude. 😁 I am extremely proud of him. What an awesome performance buddy he’s growing up to be. 🥰 Tomorrow we have 2 more runs. Can’t wait!

Croc had an awesome day at River Dogs Agility Club’s UKI Trial today!

⭐️ The most exciting news: he took 1st place (4in select) in the Master Series today! THIS gives us a by into the Master Series Finals at THE UKI US OPEN IN FLORDIA THIS NOVEMBER!! 🤩 I am so incredibly proud of how he ran today, despite being tired from RNC this week. For a baby dog that has just barely turned 2 years old, he is pretty amazing. ❤️

Unfortunately, we don’t have a video of our pretty master series jumping run, but he did a wonderful job (and we got videos of his other runs - thanks to those who recorded for us). 🙂

✨Plus he got 1st/6 Points in Speedstakes this morning earning his UKI Beginner Speedstakes title (UKI-SSB)!!!

We are headed to our first Rally Nationals together next week and next month I plan to wrap up Croc’s RE and begin our journey to his RACH! We should also get his CD/PCD and work on heading into Open obedience … all while he plays in conformation (we have one major done!), Agility and Scent Work, of course. He is truly a ‘do everything’ dog, just like his dad. 🥰

Croc absolutely blew me away this weekend. This is the first long 3-day OB/Rally trial my little guy has ever done and he rocked it. I moved Croc to Advanced B Rally after how well he did Friday and I’m so glad I did! In his Advanced B runs he got a cool 100 (and 1 99) with smokin’ fast speeds winning the tie breakers both times for first place. Much like his dad, Croc is a little speedy squirrel! Can’t wait to keep going with him … boy we are going to have fun. Croc gifted me with 2 agility Q’s even on Sunday morning!!!

I feel so blessed (and proud) to be the owner and breeder of this amazing, outgoing, versatile little dude. ❤️

Calvin, Croc and I had an AMAZING time at the trial at Quad City Dog Center today. Totally worth the long drive.

Calvin qualified in 3/3 searches AND HE EARNED HIS MASTER CONTAINER (SCM) TITLE! That title was the last thing we needed to qualify for his Master Versatility Excellent (MVCX - the highest versatility level) through the CWCCA!!! 🥹❤️ He also had a wonderful Excellent Interior Q. The judge (Christina Ruddock) made sure to give us a high five after he Q’d because she loved how well we worked that search together. Her excited compliments made it extra special for us (plus Calvin placed 2nd out of 9)! My best old man never lets me down … he was ON IT today.

Croc was a bit of a wild child, but Q’d and titled in Novice Interiors (SIN) and Q’d in a fast Advanced Container run earning himself 2nd place. My doodlebug is the happiest little feral squirrel out there … the judges adored him and his awesome attitude. 🙂

These were both their first points won. So proud of both Croc and Wicket! We had such a fun time surrounded by friends.

Croc also had 2 more successful 17+ MPH runs in Fast Cat that morning (his buddy, Barclay, had two runs over 16MPH himself!). Good dogs ❤️

Extremely proud of my youngster this weekend at the agility trial. Croc’s runs were super nice and fast. He’s coming along so quickly. He only dropped one bar all weekend! Huge improvement, I am so excited for his agility journey!

Calvin’s Agility Glory Run (Retirement from Agility!) Not only was today Calvin’s Gotcha Day all those years ago, today was our day to run his Glory Run in Agility at the CWCCA 2023 National Specialty. He was so ready to go. I love my squirrel so much … and no I didn’t make it through without crying. 😅 We have a ton of brags already, but I’m going to wait until after Rally tomorrow to talk about them.
