Louie is a lap cat looking for a home after being abandoned and living on the streets.

Louie is a lap cat who was abandoned at some apartments when his family moved and left him behind. Although taken care of by some community members, he has suffered but was recently rescued. Unfortunately for our plans to host him at Petco he tested positive for HIV. We have adopted out many HIV cats over the years. He is neutered and not a fighter. Please give this 8 year old gentleman a chance to live a loved life again. Kept indoors, his FIV should not be an issue as long as he has regular vet checkups.

I beg of you, do not ignore cats right now 🙏🏼 just because you aren’t seeing kittens yet - some are breeding as we speak. Don’t be surprised 😮 when kittens show up in a couple of months.

Even if you have indoor only cats, they can and probably will escape. 😕 They can’t help it, it’s a natural urge and instinct to reproduce.

The good news is it’s 100% preventable through spay and neuter. 🎉

UPDATE: '' The vet did not treat him. He was going to be euthanized at the shelter. Friends For Life pulled him and took him to the vet. He had a huge abscess and well as being severely anemic.
