First ball python clutch of the year to hatch!!! These 6 beauties are ALL 100% double-het Ultramel Clown; one female OD, 3 female lesser, and 2 male lesser. (My apologies for the terrible lighting.) Mom was an Orange Dream Clown and dad was an Ultramel Lesser. Holding back 1 male and 2 females. The other male and 2 females will be up for rehoming once they have shed and had at least 4 solid meals. 🙏♥️🐍🌻

Slightly disappointed, was hoping for a larger clutch as her last one was 12 eggs, but still thankful for 5 healthy eggs. 🙏 This is my 16 year old normal female, Samantha, that I paired my daughter-in-law’s male Pinstripe Orange Dream Black Pastel Lesser Calico to. This 16 year old mama is due to lay in 10 days. I paired Samantha to my daughter-in-law’s Pinstripe Orange Dream Black Pastel Lesser Calico male, Percy, to prove him out. Her last clutch hatched 6-9-21 and I am breeding her daughter, a beautiful calico I named Petunia, this year. ♥️🐍

As snake lovers, we don’t want to hear about the snake you killed, whether it's a rattlesnake, a garter snake, or any other kind of snake. It makes you sound ignorant and uncompassionate. To us, it sounds as bad as it would for most people to hear about someone killing a cat or dog with a shovel.

They are finally in! Actually, this all happened about 3 weeks ago. Colton Scherer (Planet Python) approached us about possibly buying his rodents (sheds, racks, and all the supplies). We prayed about it and felt this is the direction God is leading us, so we went for it. There’s still a bit of work to be done, as we are installing a 2 ton AC package unit for the sheds to share. Tim installed one for our first 2 sheds and it is working wonderfully! At Southern Scales Exotics we strive for excellence in all our animals and that includes how we care for them. Thank you, Colton, for all your help!!! Also a huge thank you to our neighbor who graciously used his tractor to clear and level the area for the sheds to go!!!
