The worst cases of summer are always the overheated dogs! We always advise to leave your pets at home during the hottest part of the day and, if you must take them, never leave them in the car! It is extremely hard (and costly) for your dog to recover from extreme heat injuries!

Fireworks season is upon us with Memorial Day right around the corner. We usually see an influx of missing patients after holidays involving fireworks displays. Even dogs who are normally calm and not anxious may have a fear reaction to fireworks. Please leave your pets at home and/or confined in the house if you are planning to go see fireworks. If your pet normally needs medication to overcome noise anxiety, now if the time to get them refilled.
