Everyone, meet Hero ❤️ This absolute heartbreaker came to us as an owner surrender after his person passed away. She had fallen too ill to take care of Hero before her passing, but it's clear from his personality that he was deeply loved. She didn't have much help but we're honored we get to help him after his devastating loss. Here's the thing, Hero needs a foster home ASAP. He's thin, he's had tremendous hair loss, and needs a good groom. He's such a sweet boy and loves all the affection. He's around 3 years old and while he may look rough, he's in good spirits! He'd be great with kids, and would most likely do well with dogs (we just don't have a great fit to test him with but could happily test with yours if you have one!). It’s Kittenpalooza week at our cat facility and this year’s lineup is next level!!! Our kitten season came late but it’s been one of our heaviest yet! We have so many pretty babies waiting for their forever homes! We have been O. B. S. E. S. S. E. D. with Dave since he came to us in March of 2023!!! This absolute hunk came to us a shell of what he is now thanks to a foster home who’s had him for the past 10 months but we all agree it’s time Dave found his ✨forever✨! We really are baffled that he hasn’t had interest. This boy is the perfect mix of brains and brawn, plus he’ll keep you young with his silly little antics like going into the bathroom while your showering just to fart and then leave. Basically a forever teenager minus the attitude and he’ll always show you he loves you! Our current population is the highest it’s been in months. We’re a small shelter that filled up its kennels in the past two days and adopting dogs like Dave helps us move another into a foster home. So PLEASE consider taking this lug home! Dave needs to be an only animal, but he’s all you’ll ever need. We promise! ❤️
