With heavy hearts we wish to share that our founder Dr. Richard Mahrenholz has passed. He started West Side Pet Hospital in 1970 on Franklin Street. He then moved the clinic to our current location when transformed the old Parkway Drive-in into West Side Pet Hospital & Paw’s Inn in 1985. He was a great man and will be remembered as a caring & skilled veterinarian, a mentor and a friend. He will be missed.
