Little known fact:

Chickens HATE pool noodles!

We use them to herd them around the yard when they’re free ranging because our Aussie / Lab mix gave up on trying to herd them…

They also make effective barriers when they get the idea they want to fly the coop…this way we don’t have to build a big ol walk in Coop and can just use the 2 smaller coops to keep the profile down and make cleaning up after them easier!

We see a lot trash in our walks in the neighborhood left on the side of the streets / sidewalks. We pick up what we can, but invariably we miss a lot.

1. Don’t litter! It’s yucky!
2. Think of ways you can reduce your plastic use! Skip the straw!!!
3. Take a bag with you on your walk and pick up what others left.
