Our lead groomer, Mickey, has been grooming for over 30 years and has been with us every step of the way making our name what it i

s today. She took the owner, Senta, under her wing as an apprentice in 2015 in hopes they becomes her successor when the day of retirement comes. Patrick is our bather/receptionist and also Senta's younger brother. He has been with us since 2017, making sure everything runs smoothly from taking dogs to potty, to making appointments, or just giving us a tiny break to get some food. We often tell him we don't know what we would do without him (especially when the dogs paint the kennels with their p**p, he is more than gracious enough to clean them)

Senta started as a weekend receptionist in 2013 and worked up to salon manager in a years time. When the business was listed for sale in 2015 Senta lept at the opportunity, for they had fallen in love with grooming and truly found a calling. Senta trained under Mickey for a full year before taking on clients alone and has been grooming for 6 years. We hope you enjoyed getting to know a little bit about us. If we seem like the place for you, we would love to have you apart of our EVPG Pack. ��

Our Story

We at Evansville Pet Grooming make it our goal to make you and your “furbaby” our priority! Being in business for close to 30 years, we like you to feel that you can trust your most prized possession to us; knowing they're being treated like our own. What sets us apart from other salons in the area is that we focus on grooming, ONLY. We offer “one on one” grooming-meaning that we will work on your dog and only your dog, through and through. We only do this on Monday’s and it is a request, but there is no extra fee! We use top quality pet safe products and stay on top of training, new techniques, and take every precaution to keeping your pet safe!

MEET OUR STAFF:

Micheline “Mickey” Metcalf, has been grooming for over 30 years and has been with us every step of the way making our name what it is today. She is now part-time and can be requested Thursday-Saturday’s. She absolutely loves grooming and is only cutting back so she can continue to do what she loves. I have done the calculations and Mickey has groomed over 125,000 dogs in her career... WOW!

Senta Streeter (me), has owned EVPG since July 2, 2015. I have been an employee since November of 2012, so I have been apart of the EVPG family for 7 years, now. I was also been Mickey’s apprentice for 2 years and am now the full-time groomer with 4 years under my belt. I offer new techniques, new styles, and I love creative grooming with pet safe hair dye! I only offer ears, tails, or paws at this time. I also offer some stencil work but I’ve yet to perfect this. I’m available on request Monday-Friday’s!

Patrick Streeter, has been our weekend receptionist and “Summer Bather” since May of 2016. He is very soft spoken, but is a great worker, and LOVES animals. You can catch him here on Saturday’s, and during Summer, Spring, & Winter Breaks from college. He’s the one answering the phones, cleaning, doing paperwork, letting the dogs in and out, and giving the pups some love and attention! I’m not sure how we would function without him, he makes this place run seamlessly. We sure do miss him when he’s busy cracking open the books and maintaining his 4.0 GPA! He will be graduating at the end of Spring 2020 with his Associates in Game Design and Marketing. A lot of our logos, posts, art, and our specials board is done by him to help beef up his portfolio before he even graduates (:

MEET OUR ANIMALS:

When you come for a visit with us, you’ll often see some cats roaming around. We have a total of 1 salon cat, Little O. He is our greeter, entertainer, and pseudo cat dad to our foster kittens. He absolutely loves the hustle and bustle of the salon and keeps our clients in stitches while we work on their pets.. You may also be seeing some foster cat’s roaming around from time to time. I help out Another Chance for Animals by fostering cats and kittens! I made the decision to donate my office to become a room for all my foster cats. I even did a little remodeling to it-however kittens being kittens, it could use a fresh coat of paint! All of the cats you see roaming (apart from Little O) are up for adoption. Kitten prices are $75, adolescent cats are $50 and adult/mature cats are $35. All the money goes to ACA, I also accept donation on their behalf, monetary and goods a like. I hope you enjoyed getting to know a little bit about us, we want to make your experience everything it can be and more! We love our clients as well as their parents/owners and do everything we can to make sure they are pampered and loved! If you have any questions or request a tour of the facility-just give us a call! We would need to schedule it on a day that we are not in operation, either before or after hours just so we don’t distract the animals and groomers. We need full attention on those furbabies!
