Brownie had a GREAT times being our 1st weekend warrior! Here’s a message from his Weekend Foster:

“Brownie was such an amazing boy during his weekend stay with us! He got along well with our other dog, a female corgi, and was very curious about our turtle and fish! He really is the definition of gentle giant and has a great personality! He is very loving and attentive to people and knows how to have fun by playing catch or tugging on toys with them! For a dog so young, he surprises you by knowing when to perk up or mellow down. We went on several walks and did very well on the leash and did not get distracted easily. He sleeps well in a bed without taking up too much room (unless you want to cuddle then he is all in), but also did well in the crate when given something to give his attention to”

Weekend warrior week #2. Our 1st warrior brownie had a wonderful weekend adventure and this week were adding in a twist!! Meet Olive. Sadie. Peggy and Iris. These four sisters have grown up and ACA care and many of you remember their siblings that were fighting for their life due to Parvo! These girls are ready to take on their weekend, adventures and be the next weekend warriors! They can all go with different Foster’s for the weekend. They are around 18 weeks old, and love to play with anyone willing to play with them. They are all spayed, and current on vaccines! So who wants to give these girls a shot at being this weekend warriors? They promise laughter, snuggles, and lots of puppy energy! Who's ready for a puppy party?

Meet Brownie, our first Weekend Warrior! This adventurous boy is looking for a weekend foster family to take him on all sorts of exciting outings. Don't worry about a thing – we'll provide everything Brownie needs for his weekend escapade.

Brownie is about 2 years old and is likely a lab mix. He gets along great with dogs and absolutely LOVES to play! If you fall head over paws in love with this sweet boy, you're welcome to continue fostering him, and who knows, you might just decide to make him a permanent part of your family through adoption.

Catch some serious puppy love? Keep fostering and bring your new pal to adoption events! You can drop them off or stick around to meet potential adopters - we'll provide the pup-corn!

Can't imagine saying goodbye? That's a-okay! We adore "foster fails" - they just mean there's one more pup with a forever home!

Meet Izzy! She has been in our care 291 days! She is a very special girl that needs a special home!

Izzy may take some time to trust new people, but once she does, she'll shower you with all the love and affection she has to offer. She's an extroverted loner, meaning she enjoys the company of other animals but may feel overwhelmed by the presence of children. A tall fence is a must for this curious pup, as she loves to explore and discover new smells.

We believe Izzy would thrive in a home with a patient and understanding owner who can give her the time and space to feel comfortable. A companion animal would also be a great plus for Izzy, as she loves having a furry friend to play with.

Hey there, fur friends! My name is Brownie and I'm a 1.5-year-old boy searching for my forever home. I may be a mixed breed, but my handsome looks and solid build are sure to turn heads. Sadly, I was adopted out when I was just 6 months old but returned through no fault of my own. But hey, let's not dwell on the past, because I'm ready to move on and make new memories with a loving family!

I've been described as a social butterfly and I definitely live up to that reputation. I'll charm you with my friendly and happy personality and I promise to always be loyal and playful.
