🚨Emergency Fosters Needed Tomorrow🚨
We have partnered with the Best Friends Animal Society to take on 25-30 Animals from the Disaster Relief Efforts from Hurricane Helene. We need Emergency Fosters for our current animals at the Shelter to make space for the incoming dogs that are being evacuated.
How You Can Help:
-Fill out a Foster Application on our Website prior to coming to the Shelter, & put Emergency Foster under the Animal Name.
-WHS Shelter will be Open Tomorrow at 12pm-7pm. We need as many animals out as possible to make room for the evacuated animals coming on Thursday.
-This will be a huge undertaking for our shelter. We need financial assistance to cover the cost of unknown vetting expenses, medications, & vaccines needed for such a large intake all at once. Please Consider Donating!
-If your were thinking about Adoption, this is the time!

We're offering some flexibility on hours for the right person.
* Ideally, we need someone to help with bathing dogs, answering phones and general light cleanup.
* The minimum hours we need are 8:30-12:30 on Mo, Tu, We, Fr & Sa....but full time hours are possible (8:00-4:30)
* We start at $10/hr, and provide incentives based on the quality of work done....and we are ready to hire right away
