This page has had a lot more traffic recently (thank you thank you thank you!) so I figured this would be the perfect time to introduce myself!
My name is Melody Hart and I’m the owner of The Collar Club. I grew up right here in Evansville and have always had a passion for animals for as long as I can remember. I started pet sitting for friends and family back in high school and have been working with pets professionally for nearly the past decade, spending most of that time managing daycare/boarding facilities as well as soaking up all the knowledge I could at a veterinary office. I love all pets, but some of my favorite breeds include Pugs, Boxers, Mastiffs, Dobermans, and Pitbulls. I also have a soft spot for senior pets and those mixed breeds that you can’t quite put your finger on!
When I’m not working, I enjoy traveling, hiking, and spending time outdoors as well as watching football.
I’m excited to be able to give back to the community that’s given so much to me by honoring the legacy of the building I’m in as well as providing such a vital need to this part of town. I can’t wait to be able to utilize my knowledge and love for pets to create a safe and enjoyable home away from home for all the pets and pet-parents that walk through my doors.
