Chica just arrived all the way from Kennewick WA. She can be wary of new people so we’re taking it slow, but luckily for us she LOVES food. So building up a bond will be a breeze. As long as we’re stocked up with cookies!
She’s here with us until she finds a new couch to lounge on! She is up for adoption though The Pit Bull Pen. If you have any additional questions about Chica or any of their other dogs their page will be tagged!

She’s an extremely neutral dog but being a malinois it’s always good to practice her impulse control, which is something she’s always struggled with (especially with fuzzy dogs 😆)

FRANK. Frank the silky terrier is here for an indefinite board and train. This boys got a lot of issues. He’s cranky with new people, he doesn’t like other dogs, he’s had next to no socialization. Oh and he bites LOL. Luckily for Frank that’s our favorite kind of dog!
He lacks of lot of confidence so our main goal now is to build him up, put some bombproof obedience on him.C and see where it takes us
Because Frank is so uncomfy with people in his space he’s not willing to lure so we had to get creative. By using his ball as a reward and marking/throwing the ball when he offers that behavior we want we’re able to reinforce and build value in his down with no food!
And for Frank, it’s just a challenging game of fetch. We’re looking forward to seeing how this boy progresses!

Monty is working on the bare bone basics, which is food is edible 😆. This sweet wiggly puppy will stay with us for a couple weeks until he gets his foundations of place, recall, puppy obedience and socializing then he will be ready for adoption!
Monty is a 9/10 week old pitsky puppy who came to us infested with worms, zero starters on crate or potty training which he is kicking ass at! Watch all his wiggly progress as he grows up and continues learning in his new home.
Our training/rescue program will come with life long support, especially with these baby dogs!

Pig is the cutest bully/frenchie mix, we pulled from from the euthanasia list, he was deemed aggressive and un adoptable. But like any dog, pig just wasn’t handling the shelter environment well and the second he was in a home he opened up and is just the snuggliest snortiest little dog ever. Pig is roughly 32lbs, so anyone wanting a tiny little pig dog he’d be perfect. Since we’ve had pig he’s shown no aggression towards humans, dogs or cats. With animals he is pretty neutral, he likes to mind his own and isn’t much of a player. I think pig could do well with dog avoidant cats, and maybe a laid back dog who also likes to mind their own but anything up in his face I just don’t think would be fair to him. He has shown no aggression since being with me, he approaches strangers with a happy wagging tail and will happily crawl into their skin. Pig enjoys his crate and prefers to be left alone while in it. Because pig was in the shelter so long we do believe it’s created a lot of distress with people messing with him through the crate, he is okay with people being next to it but anything like sticking fingers though I do believe makes him severely uncomfortable. He lovessss having beds and blankets in there and just keeping it cozy and warm. He’s just an absolute love to live with, and he’s very quiet calm and reserved to himself. Because pig does have a bite history or an attempted bite history I would say no kids, he previously lived with kids but it’s better to be safe than sorry. Pigs ideal home would be someone more laid back, maybe 2/3 a month they go on a walk or a short hike but for the most part he just wants to snuggle under a blanket. He enjoys the occasional walks with a jacket on, of course!
Veno is coming up on 2, he’s just the sweetest husky on planet earth. He does amazing with dogs, he does okay with cats but does like to chase them so he would have to be slowly introduced. He does amazing with kids as well as every person he’s ever met. He’s not your typical loud energetic husky, he can be destructive if left alone, but that’s typical husky behavior. With that being said, he is fully crate trained and he will come with a 48 inch crate that he’s been in the whole time and will not be able to escape. He does fine if left alone, in his kennel of course. He’s able to settle inside but also is able to be on the go if you’d want him to be. Veno adores the dog parks, and is able to pick up on other dogs body language and know when to let the situation be. When meeting a dog 1 on 1 he can be a little pushy, but it’s nothing over bearing. His ideal home would be with someone who likes to hike on the weekdays/weekends then take a couple days off to relax on the couch, or even someone family oriented who likes to spend time with family. I will not deny someone because they live in a apartment, as long as he’s getting his physical and mental needs met there should be no issue. He can live with dogs, or no dogs. As for someone who has cats, I’d like them to be experienced at introducing a dog to cats, he’s not aggressive with them but he is curious and will chase them. Veno is all around a easy going husky, and would love to be involved in someone’s family. He is fully UTD on all his vaccines as well as he is fixed.

Puppies like Pongo have short attention spans, so keeping training sessions brief ensures they stay engaged and don't get overwhelmed. This approach encourages them to be more enthusiastic about training and more likely to retain what they've learned.
