Honestly, I don't know where to begin.

Maybe im still in shock.

But yesterday (8/6/25) on my 10 yr olds birthday, we were on our way to Olympia to go camping, we were coming from sultan and I stopped in monroe to put transmission fluid in cause my truck was having transmission issues and my ex in Centralia was going to fix my truck.

Somewhere in Duval, my truck started smoking so I pulled over and lifted the hood, all 3 of my kids and dog got out at this point and saw flames, so I took a gallon of water to try and get the flames out at this point 2 construction workers came over with an extinguisher but it wasn't working and by this time it was in the cab of my truck and im calling 911, by the time the firefighters got there my truck exploded 3 times and everything was gone.

My 3 girls, my dog and I are homeless.

So everything in there was what we had.

Everything gone.

My grooming table and supplies gone.

Camping gear, clothes, blankets, pillows, gone.

My meds, wallet, id gone.

I also had filled the tank in my truck in monroe, $100 gone.

We don't even have a mailbox or po box due to be screwed over by someone i thought was helping us get on our feet.

Thankfully, the snoqualmie resources manager took us to the north bend shelter, so we are currently safe.

But now I need help getting another vehicle. And rebuild what we lost.

In the past year, we have lost our home, been in a roll over accident, a pregnancy, I've had heart issues and was hospitalized, (my mom died in her sleep from a heart attack in 2019 and my dad died from heart failure, kidney failure, and liver failure in 2022).

I feel like a failure to my kids. But anything and everything is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

As of now I gotta rebuild my supplies before I can take on grooming again, and obviously I cant get to my drop ins or other clients until we have a vehicle.

Got some hot dogs? I can shave them or at least shave the belly and paw pads as dog lay on their belly's to cool off and sweat through their paws! I have availability this weekend and next week! I can also take your water baby out to the river, lake or to Edmond's beach to cool off!

Sadly the bird didn't survive 😞

Rescued this robin this morning at a client's house.
Poor thing was just sitting in the entrance, didn't even react when I picked it up.
Checked the wings, didn't see any obvious damage to the wings, there was a tiny cut on the left leg by where the body is.
I named it Christopher.
Did take it to the new paws wildlife facility in Snohomish, they said they'd give me the outcome.
