Best Friend Rodent Rescue 501C3 Non-Profit small animal rescue located in Everett, WA. Working mainly with domestic pet rats.

Best Friend Rodent Rescue is a no kill, 501 (C) (3) non-profit animal shelter and rescue dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and finding homes for neglected and abandoned small animals, primarily domestic rats, from other shelters and owners who can no longer care for them. By working with committed volunteers, foster homes and local veterinarians, we are able to rescue hundreds of small animals

every year, provide them with loving temporary care, and find them well-matched, carefully screened forever homes.

We also serve as a resource to our community and all pet rat owners by providing education, information on responsible pet ownership including the importance of spay/neuter, positive behavior training, and good nutrition for this often misunderstood and underappreciated animal.

Have you been wanting to add to your mischief? Well now is the time. We have 6 litters of beautiful boys and girls, hoodies and pews, smooth, rex and a few patchworks. All are adoption age about 6 weeks to 7 weeks old. Please contact us if you are interested and fill out an application. They’re just waiting to crawl into your heart

💚 We have some very lovely ratties looking for their forever homes here at Best Friend Rodent Rescue 💚

Recently we took in some momma rats with unexpected babies that needed extra room (see captions), along with a Dad and son duo, to help them in their next steps to find their people.

Could that be you? 🤔😀

All these ratties are very sweet, gentle and eager to warm up and trust as they are being acclimated and handled.

Most are currently within 3 1/2 months of age, both boys and girls available.

Until we can find these cuties their forever homes, we won’t be able to intake more rats that we are waiting to help from the recent big Oregon rescue effort alongside Little Critter Crew and RatWay rescues. 🆘
