This little monkey got away with MURDER.
Wilbur had such a problem with biting.
I thought I was going to lose my mind.
It had been so long since I had my own puppy that Wilbur pushed all the buttons and he pushed some over and over again. I think when you're in the thick of it, it's hard to get perspective.
It can often feel like you're doing the right thing by doing a collar grab and saying no.
Ultimately, we need to ask Ourselves WHy is this dog having this behavior?
Not, Is it good or Is it bad?
But WHY are they doing it?
If we can figure out the WHY, most times you can figure out a solution or understand this is why it's happening and alter schedules or the way in which you're doing it.
Am I maybe consistently doing something or not doing something at a certain hour?
Making sure that the dogs needs are met before yours, is also an excellent place to start.
Now I understand that this can be quite a difficult task to complete, especially if you are new to dog guardianship or just like me had forgotten the true atrocities of puppy rearing.

Trust me on this one. If you are just getting a puppy GET A TRAINER!!!

Trainers can see things we cannot.
They also have not been running on 3 hours of sleep, for the past, God only knows how many weeks.
They can give a different perspective on what you're going through.
They can also come up with a plan to help tackle this insurmountable thing you call puppyhood.
I guess what I'm trying to say, is that puppies are hard and you forget how hard they are until you are in the thick of it and want to pull your hair out and quite possibly give them away.
So before you do that save yourself a migraine and reach out to a PROFESSIONAL! ( Even if you are the professio
