Here’s the newest member of puppy day school on a training walk. All our puppies are walked several times during day school to work on leash walking, drop it, and training with distractions. Oh and also, p*e and p**p on cue outside!!

Sage is a 13 week old Wirehaired Pointing Griffon. ❤️❤️❤️ Here she is working on nose touch to hand and what to do when she sees a stranger. Hint…turning to look at who’s holding the leash pays big!!!

Last minute openings for this weekend disc seminars! Amazing opportunity to work with Bonnie Scott, a Disc Dog multi-world finalist in Freestyle and Extreme Distance. It will be held inside at High Fidelity Dogs in Everett MA.

Sometimes things you really wanted to make come together just don't. I was very bummed about having to postpone the in-person judges seminar because of my very broken shoulder. The good news-I got the OK from my ortho to increase my activity so let's have some fun!
Making Lemonade Pop up trial Novice and FEO only Saturday Sept 4 Westford MA 4H Fairgrounds open now. 9:15 briefing very small number of runs so planning to be done by 2:00. Weather will be beautiful!!
Sunday Sept 5 10-2 Unicorn Sniff for any dog regardless of level. Two searches of 5-10 minutes. Ground hides, vehicles, buildings, exteriors, containers, you see it you search it!!!
Small cash prize, custom ribbon with your dog’s name for 1-3 place.

Also, Facebook put this post in jail since it though I was selling Hi-Fi. Couldn't put a price on this face!!!

What you don’t see in this video is this little guy, Toby, running away from other puppies. Or shaking or hiding under the chair. He’s being brave and even sniffing the other pups. For him-that’s huge!!!!

This is Toby’s third session with us at Puppy Day School. We gave him plenty of time to observe the other puppies without actually interacting with them and use his body language and demeanor to help guide us when to move forward.

Toby is a great puppy who will probably be a champion trick dog because he is so smart and loves people!! ❤️❤️❤️

Do you like SCIENCE? High Fidelity Dogs is super excited to team up with researchers from Tufts University for a study on training classes

Are you looking to do training with your dog? Do you and your dog want to help science at the same time? If you said yes to both of these questions, then we have an opportunity for you! Researchers from Tufts University along with trainers from High Fidelity Dogs are seeking humans and dogs for a research study that examines the effects of different types of dog training classes. Classes will be beginner manners/obedience training OR scentwork training. Both will be taught using positive reinforcement, of course!

Here's what you need to know!

● You can either take a class that runs from September 13th – October 4th OR a class that runs October 11th to November 1st. Both classes run every Monday.
● The class fee is $125.
● Classes will be held at the High Fidelity Dogs Training Center in Everett, MA, just outside Boston.
● Dogs must be over one year old as of June 1, 2021, and have been with their current owner for at least six months, and current on their rabies vaccinations.

Ivan The Wonderful practicing staying and having fun doing it!

Let me tell you about one our puppy class superstars, a German Shepherd puppy named Ivan The Wonderful! He was born with a condition called mega-esophagus where food can't properly move through his throat into the stomach. As a small puppy who loved to pick up rocks and sticks and everything else, he needed to be watched like a hawk.

His parents are so dedicated to him and his well-being. They know that German Shepherds need lots of exposure and socialization to other dogs and people. We were happy to be able to provide Ivan the extra care and attention he needed. He is turning out to be an absolutely lovely and amazing young man.

Hi-Fi visited the USDAA New England Agility Regionals last weekend. It was a such a fun and supportive atmosphere with so many great runs! Fi helped by looking for any forgotten treat to clean up 😂😂😂
