Miss Chance has asked us to share just how grateful she is for all the support you have given our shelter. Chance is a feisty 7 year old that was taken to a dog/cat shelter as a stray, then transferred to us. She was naked, and had a large tumor by her front leg and a swollen v***a. Because of our amazing supporters, her tumor was removed, and with only 2 doses of Lupron, all of her fur is back. We can't thank you enough.

Washington Ferret Rescue and Shelter will be closed to adoptions over the Winter Holidays unless we are already processing your application. Gift-givers, with good intentions, surprise loved ones with ferrets and many are surrendered. The closure also gives our wonderful hard-working volunteers the time to celebrate with their families and recharge for the coming year!

Please continue to fill out your applications on our website for consideration in January and Happy Holidays!
