Dog of the Day!
Phil is in some need of some TLC! Reach out to Mountain Pet Rescue. They fly pups in. My dog Ben was flown in from Utah!

In the Houston TX area, Phil is an adult chocolate lab mix who was picked up after escaping from the junkyard where he'd been living on a chain. Unclaimed by his people and deserving of a better life, Phil is hoping to find rescue. He is very affectionate, good on leash and eager to please his people. Sadly, Phil has tested positive for heartworms and is fearful of other large male dogs so he is considered unadoptable by already overcrowded TX shelters and lab rescues. MPR is happy to support Phil's heartworm treatment (very curable), but, in order to help, we'd need to find him a forever home where he can be doted on as the only dog with people who will understand and respect his desire to steer clear of those dogs.
