This is a bit different than most of our posts. We are urgently in need of a photographer/video photographer to work with a trainer tomorrow getting some good shots and videos of one of our long time fosters. You do NOT have to be a professional. These photos and videos will be used to try and help this guy find his Forever. We had someone lined up, but they have a sick kiddo and might not be able to make it.

Look at this girl! Emery has arrived in Colorado and will be up for adoption soon! She is a groomed-up ten month old terrier mix rescued from a hoarding situation. She loves to play with her plush balls. She is friendly, loving, and cuddly. She is working on potty training. She could be an only dog or have another dog in the family. She gets along OK with cats. She does kind of pester them a bit. She is getting more confident by the minute! She would love to be your forever friend!

Anyone looking for a GORGEOUS German Shepherd? Puma is a 3-year-old female whose person recently passed away. She has been well cared for her entire life, so is well socialized with other dogs and is very friendly with people. She is pretty playful so very small dogs may not be the best situation for her. Puma weighs in at about 70 # so typical for a German Shepherd. She does great in a crate but doesn't really need it. She knows how to sit and is very smart, so she could easily learn new skills. She walks absolutely beautifully on a leash and is ready for Colorado trails but is SUPER chill in the house. If you are looking for a sweet, fun-loving companion Puma could be just your girl! A very sweet couple took in this 1 year old female Dexter Rat Terrier in December because she was left outside during all the extreme cold weather. They had her spayed and had her shots done, but they cannot keep her as they travel and haven't been able to find a new home. We're looking for a foster so she doesn't have to go to the shelter. She has a lot of puppy energy and loves to run and play. She also loves her toys. Let's help her out!

Keto is dreaming of her Forever.

Keto is an amazing dog who loves people and other dogs, but not a fan of cats! She walks wonderfully on a leash and loves to go for short walks outside, in the store, or wherever an adventure takes her. She ignores everything with a simple command of "leave it." She is so well-behaved in public and with people. She would do best with work-from-home people as she is still dealing with some separation anxiety that requires a daily dose of Paxil. We don't know much about her past, but unfortunately, she was traumatized greatly. With continued and proper behavior modification training and the right people, she will be the best dog ever. This girl was seen being beaten by her owner and taken away. 💔 She is super sweet-we have no idea how long she was being abused. Oreo is a female boxer/pit mix. She is 9 months old and 21 pounds. Her growth is somewhat stunted probably from being mistreated. Despite all that, she loves all humans and is a total sweetie, She does great with other dogs and cats as a bonus!

**Update-Hank has a foster!!**

This is Hank. Hank is an Aussie/Terrier mix who is 4.5 months old and 15 pounds. Hank is great with other dogs and cats- it takes him a minute to warm up to people but getting so much better. He was rescued from a 22!! dog hoarding group. Hank deserves a wonderful life.

Oh boy. How adorable is this guy?

Cosmo is a 1-year-old, 8.5lb Bichon Maltese mix. He’s sweet as can be! Cosmo is quite shy and timid as life has not been kind to him. He was on the streets of Kansas and went to a shelter where his time was up. He arrived very matted and with some injuries, so we don’t know how long he was on the streets. Cosmo gets along great with big and small dogs, likes squeaky toys, and enjoys naps on the couch. He is a quiet boy, only barking when his fosters and sisters let him know there is something to bark about. Cosmo is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on all vaccines. We have an amazing adoption event coming up this Saturday that is being hosted by our local Coldwell Banker office at 30810 Stagecoach Blvd in Evergreen. Coldwell Banker has been working hard to make this not only an amazing event featuring EAPL available dogs, but also a community event with food trucks, vendors and a thank you to all their customers.

Fosters: We would love to see you and your doggies at the event to show them off to potential adopters, get some great socialization, get lots of lovin and play time.
EAPL will have all the playpens, blankets toys, water bowls and also leashes, harness, collars, coats if you need to restock. All dogs must be up to date on their vaccines and puppies must of had at least 2 of their vaccines to attend and transported via PACFA required transport guidelines.

Please RSVP to Bambi at [email protected] or 720-239-2432, so we have a good idea on who is going to be there. If your dog needs a ride, let Bambi know! Thank you for all that you all do for EAPL and for fostering those amazing pups and doggies.
