Do you notice your pet ever getting itchy paws or build-up around their eyes? Grass and other pollens can cause springtime allergies for our pets too! 🌳 Here are some petTips to keep them feeling their best:

• Wash their paws after outdoor play 🐾
• Clean their ears to prevent buildup 🧼
• Wipe around their eyes to reduce irritation 👀
• Give regular baths to keep allergens at bay 🛁

Say hello to the March Membership Spotlight, Montana Rain!! We wanted to share some sweet words from her mom, Linda!

“Montana Rain was born on February 21, 2021. We adopted her as a puppy from a breeder in Elizabeth, CO. She has very expressive eyes and was chocolate brown as a pup. She soon found her voice and was full of wild energy. She needs to be with people or other pups to maintain her composure. We started coming to Bergen Bark Inn by the time she was 6 months old. We have never looked back. The staff knew how to deal with her quirky, loving high energy. The socialization not just with other dogs but people too, has made it easier for us to take our road and camping trips. The staff has been amazing in helping us by using our training commands and expectations. Montana loves coming to day care and it's reassuring that she has had a full fun filled day so we can enjoy her more at home.”

We’re having FUN IN THE SUN this Spring Break!! ☀️🕶️🐾

As we get into warmer weather, here are some tips on keeping your pup cool:

Keep lots of water available! They control their temperature through their mouths, so it’s super helpful for them to enjoy some cool water. 🌊💧

Make Pup-cicles! Frozen broths, some yogurts, and frozen fruits are awesome treats on a warm day. Always confirm your frozen treat is dog safe!🍉🍎❄️

Buy a cooling mat! Cooling mats are a great resting place for pups in hot weather, and they stay cool for hours! 🛏️

These are only a few tips, but keeping your pup comfortable in the warm weather is super important! 🦴🐕‍🦺🔥
