💛 Worthy Needs a Foster Who Can See Past the First Hello 💛
Worthy is three and a half years old, and we want to be completely honest about him—because he deserves the right home, not just any home.
Worthy doesn’t always make the best first impression. He can come across as a bit of a stinker at the first meeting, especially when he’s nervous. New people and new dogs can feel overwhelming, and he may put on a tough front. But that bravado is just a shield.
If someone is willing to give him time, patience, and grace, Worthy melts. He is sweet, cuddly, and affectionate once he feels safe. The real Worthy is a loving dog who wants connection—he just needs a chance to trust.
Worthy is house trained and crate trained. He currently lives with another dog and does well with dogs who, like people, can look past his initial nerves. He truly enjoys playing with other dogs once introductions are behind him.
Worthy is already in our program, and he is our top priority right now. We are asking—truly asking—for help brainstorming and finding a foster home that understands dogs who need a little extra time to show who they really are.
The family or foster who opens their heart to Worthy will get to see something special. He may be nervous at first, but behind that is a genuinely amazing dog waiting for someone to believe in him.
