UPDATE!

Both dogs have been reunited with their owner. To clarify we would never sell a dog and we did not sell the dogs. We had good intentions however we should have checked for ownership and contacted the local authorities.

Hello friends,
 By now I’m sure many of you have seen the post about me picking up two dogs on Sunday.  I’m not in the business of stealing dogs, I adore dogs! It’s a good deed gone bad. On Sunday I received a call regarding  two stray dogs on Prospect Street  in Trenton, New Jersey.  My natural instinct was to get them off the streets and find them a new home of which my groomer and I did.   The dogs were matted and infested with fleas and were bathed and groomed. My groomer than posted on her Facebook of our good deed and the owner soon contacted us and one of the pets has since been returned and the second dog , which is a mini goldendoodle, is in the process of being returned.  The authorities have also been contacted and are involved as well. Lesson learned! If you find a dog call animal control and have them place a police report.
