Meet the Team! Introducing Jody! 🐾

Jody is a certified Soul Level Animal Communicator® through Danielle Mackinnon, a Companion Animal Doula by UVM, a Pet Loss Professional, and the author of Do You Talk with Animals?

Jody also holds an Associate’s degree in Veterinary Technology and brings 12 years of experience as a compassionate veterinary technician to her new role as a Customer Service Representative. Jody is passionate about the conservation of the Monarch Butterfly and actively educates others on the importance and care of milkweed, a vital resource for these butterflies.

She shares her home with two dogs—Kara, an 8-year-old Papillon, Perseus, a 10-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel—as well as two cats, Lili and Logan. She has two daughters, Josie and Jillian, and has been married to her husband Bill for 25 years. Outside of work, Jody loves spending time in nature and connecting with the animals that live there. A lifelong dream of hers is to one day snorkel with humpback whales in the wild.

Another year in the books 💚

We always like to start by thanking all of our clients for entrusting us with the care of their sweet furry family members. We wouldn't be able to pursue our passion without your trust and devotion. We are going into this new year with many of your familiar faces that we have known and loved but also so many new clients and families. We will continue to put our heart and soul into every appointment to help you hear and understand your pets silent voices, to give them a long and healthy life🤍

To our staff. We literally could not run the hospital without you. Everyday no matter the situation each and everyone of our staff members come in with an open heart ready to help every sweet little face that walks through our doors. Their care and commitment is unmatched. We support each other during hard moments, and celebrate the happy. The passion for our patients and our hospital is palpable when you walk through our doors all because of our beautiful staff. We have some of our original staff that have been with us through the 3 years we have been open and even some newer staff all of which have made our hospital the beautiful place we know and love.

We always take a moment every year to thank everyone and remember the beautiful things the year has brought us. May 2025 be a happy and healthy year for all 💚🤍
