Welcome Bruin the Labrador Retriever! Bruin just started our Teen Track Prep School Program for a manners refresher after the holidays! This program is specifically designed for dogs 6 months to 18 months of age. They get to enjoy daytime socialization and training while you’re at work. Private lessons and access to our flexible group classes are also included to transfer everything they are learning during the day to you!

Phoenix the Collie mix is one of our newest Canine Campers and we’re so excited to have him! 🐶

Not your typical Doggy Daycare! Our Canine Campers will enjoy playtime, enrichment, and napping during their stay at Camp.
🐾
Camp is meant to maintain your pups training so there will be quite a bit of training happening during playgroup. We will practice recalls out of play, group sits, taking turns for treats, and sitting at gates/doors before they are opened.
🐾
Campers will also get to see a variety of enrichment objects added to their playgroups. They will also be exposed to a variety of socialization props including canes, crutches, wheelchairs, fireworks sounds, noise cds, and more!

Does your dog bark and lunge at other dogs on walks? 🚨 If so, Calming Chaos is the class for you! Calming Chaos is a specialized dog training program for our reactive friends.

This is a 7 week linear class and will start January 11th. Limited to 4 dog and handler teams, this class is designed to set you up for success.

Next up is Merlin and Nayla! Merlin and Nayla met for the first time this week since camp is a bit too overwhelming for Nayla. Given that they haven’t met before they started off with parallel walking outside first and then moved them into the apartment to help the introduction go smoothly. Merlin also worked through meeting two new men. Both dogs did so well! We have a new pair of besties on our hands! 💜

Next up is Puck with his pheasant feathers! He is beginning the training for pheasant hunting!

Poodles are a versatile, all-purpose hunting dog, adept at finding and retrieving upland game birds and retrieving waterfowl.
📓
Puck also lives with ducks at home, so he’ll also be working on discrimination between duck and pheasant feathers so he doesn’t start retrieving the ducks at home for fun.

We’re starting off with Gwen and Mad-Eye who split a lesson today to work on agility skills. (Yes, even our own trainers attend lessons with their dogs! You’re never done learning!) Gwen was working on obstacles being spaced farther apart than she’s used to, along with some practice on the teeter! Mad-Eye was working on building his distance handling and layering in other obstacles!

Mayhem to Manners!

Welcome to Mischief Managed Mayhem to Manners! Positive reinforcement dog training serving Southern Rhode Island.

Flexible scheduling for group classes including Manners, K9 Nose Work®, CGC Prep, and Tricks! Group classes are held on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday evnings. You pick the class, the night, and the time on a weekly (or daily!) basis. All group classes meet in The Fetch Room in Richmond, RI.

In addition to the above group classes we also offer Calming Chaos. This class is for those dogs that lunge and bark at other dogs (or people) when on leash. This class is not part of the flexible scheduling and meets every Tuesday at 7:15pm for 7 consecutive weeks.

Private lessons are available throughout Southern Rhode Island. Contact us today to learn more!
