It's and today we are featuring Boba who came to us as part of a group of rats and mice abandoned outside.

Boba is a shy but curious guy who comes to check out his foster whenever they are adding snacks to his bowl. He doesn't particulary enjoy being picked up but doesn't show any aggression.

This adorable fellow is being fostered in Carver, MA.

It´s finally here - World Rat Day !!!! All of us rattie moms and dads have awaited April 4th for the opportunity to join the global celebration of all things rat. It is obvious to us why our beautiful and wonderful whiskery family members deserve their own special day of recognition and it´s a great time to get together with other like minded individuals to celebrate all things rat. I love all the comments about people who'd love to get a pet rat! Please do your research as rats have special dietary needs, need to be kept in groups of 2 or more of the same s*x (or neutered and spayed) and require large cages with plenty of toys and things to climb on. They don't do well in glass tanks. Pet rats are susceptible to upper respiratory infections and whoever plans on adopting should be able and willing to spend money at an exotic animal vet. Pan is special needs and very laid back and relaxed for a rat. Most rats won't tolerate being held on their back like this. If you still are planning on getting rats please check your local shelter :)

Helping All Little Things

Our friends with Willy's Wabbits needs assistance immediately. There is a horrible case of 300 rabbits in Hunderton County NJ and the rabbits need to be moved out like right this second.
They need extra hands to help sort rabbits, extra carriers, extra cages (even if they are small, anything will do at this point), extra supplies, foster homes, adoptive homes. If anyone is local to that area or has the ability to drop everything and help right now, please let us know so we can put you in touch with the appropriate people.

Update: There are also about two dozen Guinea pigs too!!!
