The Dog Training Center of Chester County is a nonprofit dog training center based in Exton PA. Classes teach force free, positive reinforcement training.

DTCCC offers a large variety of dog training classes including Basic Manners pet classes, Kindergarten Puppy Training (KPT), Advanced Manners, Obedience, Agility, Flyball, K-9 Nosework, Freestyle, Rally-O, CGC/TDI, Clicker skills, Treibball, Show Handling and more. There is something for everyone. DTCCC is open to the public. Our instructors are CPDT certified professionals. The center is large, e

asily accessible and climate controlled. Classes are fun and use positive reinforcement and science-based techniques to help handlers develop a bonded relationship with their canine friend that will last a lifetime. Hours vary, please check schedule for class times.

Future Agility Stars: A new Pre-Agility class has been posted to the schedule to begin Friday, July 19 at 2:15pm. Class will run for 1 hour each Friday for 6 weeks. Registration is open with only a few remaining spots. Eligible dogs must have completed Basics Levels 1 and 2.
A new Agility Foundations Training Series of classes will follow and continue on Fridays at the same time. Nancy F is instructing. Teams that successfully complete the Pre-Agility Class will get priority registration for Foundations. Agility Foundations is a series of 8 six-week classes (48 weeks) that progress from basic agility skills through sequencing, weaves, contacts, and Novice coursework. Agility is a fun sport but training is extensive, whether you want to just have fun in class or become a competitor the training is the same.

More about Advanced Manners. This class is for those interested in obedience training and overall better manners out and about, and for those interested in pursuing the Canine Good Citizen and Therapy Dog certifications. This class focuses on building your dog’s best manners and confidence and covers many of the exercises included in the CGC test. You will continue to improve your own training skills as you help your dog problem solve and learn new skills. Fun and challenging!

Outdoor CGC Prep

Check out this great work by our Outdoor CGC Prep Class with J Scott Sensenig! Getting creative with social distancing while working on leash skills in an outdoor setting can be a challenge. These students are doing wonderfully and we love seeing their successes!
