d emergency care at three veterinary hospitals; 30 years experience in show training dogs of many breeds, and the successful nutrition and conditioning of show animals; 18 years experience as a professor of equine studies, stable management and equine behavior; and a lifetime of devotion to studying animal behavior and improving the human-animal bond with training methods that are positive and loving. Recent upgrades to the kennel facility mean I can now offer comfortable climate-controlled year-round boarding and grooming for your family member when he or she can't remain at your side. Hearthside Kennel has an employment opportunity available.
Hearthside is a small private boarding/ breeding kennel.
We pride ourselves on the utmost care for canine family members .
We are looking for a highly motivated, hard-working, kennel attendant. Experience in the field of dog care. Kind ,gentle methods of handling only.
Responsibilities include :Daily general handling of the dogs, turning out in play groups , light grooming , medicating ,feeding and careful observation. Assistance with a small breeding program and puppy care , cleaning, yard maintenance laundry ,customer check in and check out.
Excellent people skills as well as dog handling skills are a must.
Must be Dependable.
Reliable transportation is required .
Am and pm shifts. Every other weekend ,many holidays may be mandatory.
Excellent pay for experience in the field.
