Introducing the Ocean City New Jersey Litter and Leo from The Hart of Fair Bluffs Collies!! The SDiTs (Service Dog in Training) are run as a non profit!
These pups were independently tested at 7 wks old using a working dog Aptitude test from a behaviorist.
Leo (M) was born on 08/30/24. He is a cross between The Hart of Fair Bluffs... Sir Gallagher CD, RA, TKA, V-BN and The Hart of Fair Bluffs... Just Add Magic TKN, BCAT. He is genetically clear of all and has a great eye check. A copy of his CAER will be sent. Leo is a VERY special pup and this pairing was very much anticipated! Leo is suitable for any task! From psychiatric to guide to allergen or diabetic, he is a completely versatile confident puppy, and capable of all! I believe he will be on the higher weight/height for breed standard at maturity. (Male 24-26 inches and 60-75 pounds.
Salty (M) was born on 09/02/24.He is a cross between The Hart of Fair Bluffs... Sir Gallagher CD, RA, GCH, TKA, V-BN and Fuqua's Phoenix From the Ashes. His MDR-1 can be n/n or n/m. Other than that, all genetics are clear and he had a great eye check. A copy of his CAER will be sent. Salty is a friendly, happy puppy. He is quick to learn and adores training and playing with lots of wiggles! He would do well as a SDiT with no mobility tasks. He does not want to retrieve and while he can be taught, it won't be as natural as other dogs. Salty has an umbilical hernia. It is non sugical, which was vet checked. This can be removed during his neuter. I believe he will mature near the 65lb and 25" mark. (Male 24-26 inches and 60-75 pounds.
Wonderland (F) She is a cross between The Hart of Fair Bluffs... Sir Gallagher CD, RA, GCH, TKA, V-BN and Fuqua's Phoenix From the Ashes. Her MDR-1 can be n/n or n/m. Other than that, all genetics are clear and she had a great eye check. A copy of her CAER will be sent. She is eager to train and play! She is a versatile pup who will go far. I feel she will mature like my Lollipop, and be a very independent thinker. This would be a great response dog in any medical area. ( Seizure, migraine, cardiac) She needs a strong handler who is dedicated to training. She may feel like she is smarter than you. (At times, I think Lollipop is 🤣🤣) My feelings is she will mature to middle of breed average. (F 22-24 inches and 50-65 pounds)
Taffy (F) She is a cross between The Hart of Fair Bluffs... Sir Gallagher CD, RA, GCH, TKA, V-BN and Fuqua's Phoenix From the Ashes. Her MDR-1 can be n/n or n/m. Other than that, all genetics are clear and she had a great eye check. A copy of her CAER will be sent. She is such a a fantastic and eager pup! She would be best utilized in independent tasks, possible wheelchair mobility. For instance, sending her to another room to retrieve items, is an independent task. She thrives with attention and loves those "yes" markers. Taffy will never get big enough for FMP, counter balance type of tasks. As the smallest female in the litter, I feel she will mature to 50lbs and the 22inches.. minimum standard.
Jersey (F) She is a cross between The Hart of Fair Bluffs... Sir Gallagher CD, RA, GCH, TKA, V-BN and Fuqua's Phoenix From the Ashes. Her MDR-1 can be n/n or n/m. Other than that, all genetics are clear and she had a great eye check. A copy of his CAER will be sent.Jersey is a pup who loves to be loved. She is best suited as a psychiatric service dog in training placement. She has a great food drive and eagerness to learn. She will also be your best friend when the world is chaos for you. She has no interest in playing fetch, and therefore would not be suitable for mobility, drop item pick up, ECT.
The videos are a sample of things. (And not all are perfect, they are real) All puppies were introduced to stimuli during their first 12 weeks. They are raised with ENS and puppy culture which helps build a confident puppy who looks to their handler rather than react to different situations. These puppies all have the confidence to become a finished service dog. We have worked individually, as well as small groups with their training sessions. They have all walked in parking lots, walked on different surfaces, heard various sounds and sight and smells. The first 12 weeks I concentrate on potty cues, crate training, and socialization. At the same time we also do foundation work, but my key is using the foundation work in a setting where socialization is utilized. Not all of this can be recorded, as it was 12 puppies to one experienced person and the children who are my helpers!
- Socialization
- crate trained
- potty cues @ 90%
- sit
- down
- heel position
- loose leash

These are PUPPIES. Puppies are hard work! They need small training sessions, at least twice per day. They will not be perfect in anything as they are learning until they are older.
My program, is a program like other programs. However, I have a lot less restrictions than other programs have. I have no problem if you have other animals in the home, provided you are able to financially and physically take care of them, and that you have a training plan to continue training my puppies to a finished service dog. There are some things that I require that I do not require for a normal puppy placement. I place my sdits for the literal cost of raising them. I take not any profit, nor do I draw any type of salary to compensate for the time and effort I put into my litters. As such, and like other programs I have things in my contracts that you may not like. This includes the trainers that you will be allowed to work with, the classes that I require you to attend, that you will pay out of pocket for people. These classes would be local to you. (CGC, CGCA, CGCU) My goal is to make it so that including the cost of the puppy, the cost of the vet care, the food, the classes, and all the supplies you need over the course of 2 years does not cost you more than mid X,###.xx. This will be dependent on where you live. In a smaller town, training can be pretty cheap. In a city, it could be double or triple.

These puppies are ready for new homes! They are 14 wks old and cannot be flown in cabin due to size, so you need to pick them up or use a ground transport. We are in NC.
(Videos and pictures show between 10-14 wks old Sable and White Rough Collies doing various small sessions.)
