“Tim & team came to Minnesota Jan 17-19th. One of the best clinics I’ve ever been to. I learned so much with my horse. It was definitely a turn point for us and addressing some much needed education. I’ve been riding horses since 6 years of age. I grew up in 4-H, local saddle clubs, training in my earlier years, showing, competing, and now in hunter jumpers. No matter what your discipline, this information is relevant to all and is a game changer in helping to advance what ever it is your working on with your horse. I HIGHLY recommend.”

We are looking forward to our 2025 clinic season, so let’s start introducing the different types of clinics we will provide!

Our most popular, The Confidence Clinic!
The confidence clinic focuses on the rider and horses confidence in one another. In this clinic we start on the ground and slowly work up to getting in the saddle. This clinic is perfect for all levels of riders and horses! A typical confidence clinic will last 2 days, and we will utilize both the arena and Obstcale course!

At Tim Brock Horsemanship a essential part of our training process is time out on the trail! A typical training horse with us will have its first trail ride by its 1st-3rd ride!

Why is Trail riding so important?
Trail riding allows the horse to learn how to carry and trust the rider with minimal ques. It also allows for trust to be built when approaching things like water crossing, wildlife, and rocky patches! Not only does this improve the rider/horse relationship, it also improves the attention to footing and balance which is the basis for most future maneuvers.

THROWBACK THURSDAY!! Lou's (LaLa Land) Inspiring Story of Second Chances and Unbreakable Bonds. Bornand raced in Ireland until age 4.Lou embarked on his journey to the United States, Lou was injured, rehabilitated,and returned to racing before retirement at age 8. Selected as an RRP Makeover Star by Lisa Belsha, Lou competed in Ranch and Trail classes, placing 9th in the Amateur Ranch division. He has enjoyed many trail rides and attended numerous clinics with new owner Jessica Schneider, forming an inseparable bond. We are excited to see their future together unfold. This is the reason we do the Retired Racehorse Project.
