The girls were on fire today!
Georgia and Thea made their showing debut in ground poles today taking a 2nd and 4th!

Addie Poindexter and Fiona made their debut as a pair in the schooling hunters taking 1st and 2nd over fences and 4th on the flat.

So proud of both of you! Go team Katalyst!

The girls battled it out today! Both went clear in all their rounds and took the top two spots in all classes.
-Reese and Q won the first with Erin and Queenie taking second
-Second class, Erin and Queenie had a lightning fast jump off time to take first place with Reese and Q in second
-Third class speed round, Reese and Q powered back for the win, with Erin and Queenie in second.
Reese and Q took division champion and Erin and Queenie took reserve.

I’m very proud of both of you taking notes from your rides yesterday and bringing goals for improvements into today. Your horses had tighter turns, faster times and more rideability. A very big well done to you! 😊

Katalyst is so proud of these girls today!

Erin and Queenie were clear and won all their classes in the 0.75m and took division champs! It’s their first time showing with us and they rocked it!
Reese and Q stepped into the 0.75m jumpers for the first time and had two clear rounds and a 4 fault round, taking two 2nds and a 6th, winning reserve champion for the division. I think there were 10ish folks total in the division, so good competition for them.
Both horses were relaxed, focused and brave. And everyone had fun! On to tomorrow!

Also, i refilled to lesson horse treat container, so the horses should be more motivated for their after lesson stretches. (You are remembering to do those right?!? 😂)

So proud of the gang last night
Titan and Twila LeeAnn Travis took 2nd, 3rd and Reserve Champ
Awesome and Leah Stain took 2nd and 3rd
Chilly and Norell Grimes took 2nd and two 6th.
Everyone had goals they wanted and met them, had fun and a lot of laughter.

Back from a fun week of showing at Maffitt Lake in Iowa. We continue to climb back up the height levels and Tabasco again for double clear in all our rounds. I’m really proud of this boy, he’s game, willing and tries so so hard to please. Looking forward to the next show.

I wanted to give a shout out to our two lesson horses Thea and Awesome. Thea continues to prove to be the most level headed 5 year old I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing and it was our first time taking Awesome out in the XC field. He was brave and had so much fun although he would like everyone to know that his dislike of the puddles in the area at home transfers to the water complex on field trips 😂 (he happily went through following Thea though lol)

Full trailer and lots of fun today with Awesome, Thea and Murray. Norell Grimes met us with Chilly at Longview. First time for most of them, but we tackled ditches, banks, water and lots of different jumps. Next schooling is May 7th at Queeny Park! Thank u Hannah Brielle and Crystal Worden for walking on the ground with me to take video and encourage all the riders and horses.

I have officially hit wait list only availability for lessons. If you aren’t currently on the lesson schedule, I can put u on a waitlist if a spot opens up, but currently all lesson horses are booked daily and all boarder/haul in spots are taken!

Clinic Day 2. Improvements today with Reese and Q and solid first ride for Maria and Smu.

Well everyone, I’m excited to announce a new addition to our family! Tabasco is an 8 year old Oldenburg gelding by Toulon X Darco, that should be arriving mid May. Many thanks to Marc, Leonie and Emely for their tireless search to find me my next horse. Can’t wait for him to arrive!
