Dr. Haupt and staff enjoyed seeing Tilly for her puppy visit. She enjoyed her cheese snacks while here amd was a good girl for her nail cut. She has one lucky family to have such a good girl.

It was nice to see Lynn, our recently retired office manager. We miss her a lot, and hope she is enjoying her time with her animals!!! And newly adopted dog. Here she is with her feline friend, who came in to see Dr. Haupt.

We had lovely little girl rats come to see Dr. Haupt today. They were absolutely beautiful and so sweet. They got a mini pumpkin muffin for being such good patients. Having sweet visitors such as these little girls, can really brighten our day here. We love your animals just as much as you all do!!!

We love puppies!!!! This is miss Layla, our new friend. I just had to get on the floor and play with her, and she was very happy. She is such a sweetheart, her mom and dad are lucky. She loved to eat her treats while Dr. Haupt examined her.

We would like to announce our newly adopted staff member. We haven't name him yet, so please send us suggestions. He is an 8yr old bearded dragon. Very lovely guy, with a great temperament. He has been wonderful
Helping us get through the days, hanging out with us while we work. We look forward to you all meeting him soon!!!! We miss all of your faces very much, we cant wait to open our doors, in the meantime, if we put you on a quick hol or randomly start dialing, our dragon might have ran over the phones by accident 😂😂😂 send name suggestions

Hi all, quick update, to help us regroup during these dificult times we will be turning off phones for a lunch break Monday through Thursday and will turn them back on at 2pm. We won't be available for medication pick up either. Thank you for your understanding.

Hi friends and family hope everyone has stayed safe during our current weather situation. Just a quick update, there is another storm that we are dealing with, and we have decided to cancel our surgeries for tuesday feb 2nd. We will try to get in there for a delayed opening to turn phones and an listen to our voicemails. Thank you all for being understanding. Stay safe

Hi all of our lovely pet parents and patients, we will be closed tomorrow, monday feb 1st due to the nor easter. We also might have a delayed opening on tuesday. We will keep you posted. Please everyone stay safe. Keep you companion animals warm, perhaps try some brain games for you cats and dogs, since we will all be inside.

All of the Fair Haven - Rumson area is still without power. We are unsure when we will be restored, but are being told definitely not today. They are still working on many trees and power lines that are down across the area.

We would like to thank our wonderful clients and their animals for sticking with us through these difficult times. We of course miss seeing you all face to face, but we must practice safely and follow our rules and guidelines given to us by higher ups. We understand it is frustrating, it's tough for us as well. Seeing your pets though certainly helps cheer us up, and we are giving them extra snuggles while we take care of them. Thankfully we are able to stay open with our almost normal buisness hours. We miss you all!!! Stay safe

Wow, the weather certainly has been gorgeous these past couple days. Great for enjoying some outdoor activities with our dogs. Please show us how you are spending these perfect spring days with dogs. This is also a great time to work with some of the more skittish or fearful dogs, by taking short small walks and rewarding them with treats during walks. A little bit each day will make a big difference.

Thanks to all who helped save this beautiful Osprey. Special shout out to Ed Cetron, Kathy's husband who went out late at night to help save this bird.

A BIG SHOUT OUT to our friends at the Leonardo First Aid Squad Leonardo First Aid and Rescue Squad -- they helped us rescue an OSPREY that was tangled in rope, hanging upside down in a tree that was extended over a lake in the Colts Neck Naval base. Neither the naval base nor the Colts Neck PD was able to provide a small boat to assist our Animal Control Officer (ACO) Javier Vargas, in this rescue.

After several phone calls to many animal rescue folks, luckily, Kathy Cetron, a vet technician at Fair Haven Animal Hospital and true friend of animals, thought quickly to ask her husband, Lieutenant Ed Cetron of the Leonardo First Aid Squad if he could help. HIs answer was YES! Lieutenant Ed Cetron, Captain Colleen Kelly, and driver Bill Snell came out at 11PM on the cold evening to assist our ACO with the rescue.

This group effort to rescue the OSPREY is a perfect example of team work for animals that sometimes need our help💓 We are happy to say, we didn’t let this osprey down! The OSPREY is currently at Raptor Trust, soon to be released back where he came from at the Naval base.

Hello there!! our loyal clients, friends, families and their companion animals. We firstly, hope everyone is safe and healthy. These times are very challenging for sure and we wish our best to everyone. We are following CDC and AVMA guidelines. As of now, we are still open and operating for emergencies. We ask that you stay outside in your car, call us when you arrive and a staff member will come outside to bring your animal back in. We ask that you remain in the car and communicate with our doctors via phone during the exam. This is for our safety and yours. We are carefully considering only the most necessary well visits for vaccines and other routine type visits on a case by case basis, remembering this is a rapidly evolving situation.
As we all know, our dogs are extremely happy to have their humans back home. Not sure how our cats are handling this. We have heard some mixed answers about how our cats are feeling. Please reply with pictures of you and your families and animals!! Give us some positivity, or funny pictures to put some smiles on our faces.
