WHAT the what?! Friends! 1,000 of you chose to follow my swoony, nerdy, dog-lovin journey. Good Grief you sweethearts.
As said up there 👆🏻in that there video… I am not one to share videos of me chatting y’all up but! I’m busy sewing tonight for tomorrow’s market and did not want to waste any time telling you all how much I appreciate all of your love and support, appreciation and celebration of the work that I’ve been putting out here.
The fellow makers I’ve met who have shown me the ropes, been so incredibly supportive, and inspiring AND so bad ass impressive… are absolutely one of the biggest reasons I’m still going at it, and believe I can continue to do this thing that I am so very passionate about.
And my love, @kylekirchmusic the most supportive, encouraging, inspiring of all. YOU are a swoon alert sir 😍
Ok, I did not mean to turn this into an acceptance speech… I just feel so happy you’re here and I’m here doing this.
Thank you for letting me gush a min or two 🥰
Ok back to sewing cute stuff!
XOXO
If you’re reading this far, you’ve achieved swoon alert status as well, my friend.
Hi there cutie. I’m Erin. Owner and Sewist at Swoon Studio + Co. I just had a mini photo sesh with the incredible babe, Kat with @lostphotographyyy and thought maybe it was a good time to re/introduce myself 🙋🏻♀️ plus it’s rare for me to not be hiding behind a dog and a messy bun in my photos, so I think that calls for a share.
You likely found us here because I asked to pet your dog and maybe I also put a super cute handmade, reversible bandana on them 😍 … and then I said I love you, let’s be friends forever ok?!
Hopefully you stuck around because you realized we make our bandanas using beautiful, interesting and quirky textile art, designed by indie artists. Your pup likely also told you how lightweight and yet oh so cozy comfy it is… true story?
I started this little studio because I have an amazingly supportive partner in my life, who -when I was going through one of the hardest times of my life- encouraged my healing through art. Knowing I loved sewing but felt rusty… he bought this sewing machine you see here, some fabric and supplies, and then celebrated every early wonky creation up to my latest pieces we sell today.
I started with bandanas because I always had one on my pup Rey while we adventured together, but couldn’t find designs that I wanted to look at 💁🏻♀️ I realized too that bandanas made our little pit mix appear less intimidating to others, which is a win for her cuz she’d really like hug thankyouverymuch
Now, Bandanas are how we got started, but the list of projects is long and there’s much more to come in the future. Stay tuned ok! We’re currently taking an outdoor market break over the summer but our online shop is open for business!
So, thank you all for being here and supporting my little small business, it has a bigger impact than you know. From those of you new to the swoon club ❤️🙌🏻 to those of you who’ve been here cheering us on from the beginning and buying from our n
