Pretty Pawz is hosting our first Pet Food Drive to support our local rescues! Help us give back this season by providing food to pets in need 🍁🐾

During the month of November, bring any unopened bags and cans of dog and cat food to our salon.

Meet Golden Retriever Rescue of Fairbanks 🐾
This is another amazing rescue we’re supporting through our Pet Food Drive!

Golden Retriever Rescue is a nonprofit organization that strives to make a difference for dogs in need. Their mission is threefold: rescuing and rehoming abandoned dogs, promoting education on dog care and training through Pawsitive Dog Training, and addressing overpopulation through spay/neuter programs.

As we reach the end of November, consider donating whatever cat or dog food you can this season. We are closed currently for the Thanksgiving holiday, but we are accepting any last donations Nov 30, when we reopen.

We were stoked to meet the folks at ReRun Kennel and learn about their mission to care for animals, support our local animal shelter and rescue organizations, bring out the best in dogs so they excel as individuals and as a team, as well as mentor younger generations of mushers and promot dog-powered sports in our community. We at Pretty Pawz are dedicated to not just the whole well-being of dogs but also are strong advocates for supporting programs and resources in our community to ensure every dog has a home and a happy life. We are proud to sponsor ReRun Kennel in the 2025 Iditarod and look forward to supporting their mission...and pampering their dogs 💜

Wow!! We are SO STOKED to be sponsored by Pretty Pawz Grooming this season! We got to bring ol' Loki in today for a groom, tour of the facilities, and met the lovely staff, and they are top notch! They kept us up-to-date on how Loki was doing throughout his whole appointment, and we can't believe how soft and handsome he is now (and he smells amazing)! 😍
Pretty Pawz has graciously donated to help offset our kibble costs for our puppers, and they also work hard to support multiple local dog rescues in our community - they are SO amazing!! Check out these gorgeous pups available for adoption with Sirius Sled Dogs Rescue. We partner with them extensively to help with rescues and adoptions. We regular donate grooms AND our team has adopted several dogs from them! They work diligently to offer a discounted spay/neuter program to help alleviate the over population of dogs needing homes. Please reach out to them if you have room to adopt a puppy. Thank you!
