Sun Dog Express Dog Sled Racing Kennels is owned and operated by life long Alaskans. Don't forget to visit our website.

We offer mushing schools and private lessons, all inclusive sled dog parties and dog sledding weddings. We are a racing kennel with fully guided dog sled university/dog sledding schools and private lessons - to teach individuals about the art of dog mushing. We offer all inclusive dog sledding parties for all group sizes. Mentoring and public speaking engagements. We board sled dogs and equines at our ranch, as well.

February 8, 2019 Training Run

The last 1/2 mile home to the dog yard is a steep uphill. The Sun Dogs attack it with enthusiasm.

Busy getting the team trained up with a 6am run. No snow on the ground and no snow forecasted for the foreseeable future. The 4 wheeler makes a great substitute. Mush on!

The last run of the season on the Old Husky Ski Trail

We've had a great time running the trails just out of the summer dog yard. Late spring means finding new trail and this year didn't disappoint.

6 A.M. training run. :) It takes a lot of mental and physical training to get these dogs ready for all the guests that come to visit us over the winter months. Since snow is late in coming we do several runs each week with the 4-wheeler.

6 A.M. Fall Sled Dog Training

Union break. The nine and ten your old team take a training break. They actually didn't need a break but the musher needed to stop to change the ipod tune.

October 13, 2012. Fall training is progressing nicely. Dog's pull the four wheeler on the flats in nuetral while they need a little help with the hills.
