1150+ mile dogsled race from Anchorage to Nome, Alaska in March, traversing some of the world's most intense terain and climate conditions. The race celebrates this great story and has captured the hearts and imaginations of people from all around the world. In the race's near 40 year history, competitors have come from around the globe to test their mettle. No one from North Carolina has ever completed the Iditarod. Our goal is to become the first team from North Carolina to complete the Iditarod. Dogsledding in NC!?!? Yes, and why not! Dreams are not bound by geography.
